My native city's Thunder come in leading the Western Conference at 24-5, 4 1/2 games ahead of the Rockets, to whom they traded James Harden last season.
The injury to Westbrook may actually be in the Thunder's long term interest. Westbrook does appear tobe less of a "shoot first" PG than he used to be, but I still see him as better suited to the 2 than the 1. An opportunity to give other players experience at the 1 will help more than hurt.
Harden was, next to Ibaka, my favorite Thunder player before the trade, and I understand he's very popular in Houston now. The Thunder won't be able to shut him down totally but might come closer than most teams.
GO THUNDER!
