I'm sorry, but when you are putting together "all-star teams", guys like Crabtree and Harvin aren't exactly striking fear into opposing teams. Fitzgerald is one of the best in the red zone, but he hasn't been the same guy the last couple years (back to back years with a career low YPC average).

So I'd have no problem putting 8 in the box against that WR Corp, if running the ball is what the NFC West wanted to do.

Percy Harvin has never had 1000 yards receiving and the most receiving TDs in a year is 6. He is a gimmick player, you can line up in the backfield and in the slot. Once again -- he wouldn't sniff the starting lineup in the NFC North.

It's not all about TDs and yards. Lined up in the slot against my team, I would be extremely concerned about him on any 3rd and short. It may not equate to a 70 yard TD, but I bet he gets more times than not and it drives defenses crazy.

Uhhh -- this isn't Calvin Johnson on his own, like it is when he is on the Lions. His QB will be Aaron Rodgers, the 2011 NFL MVP. His RB will be Adrian Peterson, the 2012 NFL MVP. The other WRs will be Brandon Marshall, Alshon Jeffrey, Jordy Nelson or Randall Cobb.

When you play Detroit -- I agree -- you can find ways to take Megatron out of the game, by dropping the safeties 20 yards off the line of scrimmage and rolling the safety to his side of the field.

Are you going to do that with Adrian Peterson at RB? He has averaged 5.4 YPC this year against teams putting 8 men in the box. GOOD LUCK WITH TRYING TO STOP THAT OFFENSE.

The Seahawks already faced AP this year and he got 65 yards and a 3.1 average. Imagine adding the best of the West to that.

Sherman and Thomas on Calvin at all times. Calvin = shutdown then. Peterson on Marshall. I'll take my chances and put 8 in the box to stop AP. Yes, you can try to torch me with Jeffery or Nelson over the middle, but I think the linebackers are athletic enough to make enough plays to keep it manageable. I think the NFC West wins. Just my opinion.

You see NFC west posters give you a complete lineup. NFC North posters just want to talk about offense, but not the OL, just position players. When pushed you'll add some flashy one dimensional pass rushers, no talk about LBs or the secondary player?

What would you like me to talk about? LBs -- Clay Matthews is alright, I guess. Lance Briggs is alright, I suppose. If you are just going with this year -- DeAndre Levy has to be in the mix (100 tackles, 6 interceptions, 19 passes defensed) -- he has grown in leaps and bounds from last year to this year.

CB -- Charles Tillman is one of the best cover corners in the NFL and one of the few players who has given Megatron problems. Tramon Williams would be the other corner.

Safety -- They have a lot to choose from -- Morgan Burnett, Harrison Smith, Louis Delmas -- there is 5 or 6 guys you could pick from and you couldn't go wrong.

Don't you also seem to forget we have Marshawn Lynch and Frank Gore. Also you mentioned Allen, Suh, Fairley and Peppers for your defensive line, they aren't known as run stoppers.

Well. He is the most talented WR to ever step on a football field. So I could see why they feel that way. But with Sherman AND Thomas on him, there's no way he's going to have a big impact on the game.

I thought when I said it was clearly the NFCW, this debate was over. You can put any combination of offensive players together and they'd still get beat. The NFCW has enough offense and an overwhelming abundance of defensive talent. The defense would just be too strong to overcome.

That is what I am saying -- you can put two guys on him and you could try to limit him, though he will still get his catches. That leaves the field open to the other players, who will have the 2011 MVP throwing them the ball or it will limit the guys you can put in the box and they can hand the ball off to the 2012 MVP.

I'm not arguing that the NFC West wouldn't have the best defense out of any division. I think they would. I'm just saying in today's NFL, where the rules favor the offense so much -- it'd be extremely difficult to try and stop Rodgers throwing the ball to that WR corp.

You seem to forget -- there is a 3rd WR, as well. Take your pick -- Jordy Nelson, Alshon Jeffrey, Randall Cobb. They will be in single coverage as well.

That is why I said -- you can double Calvin, but it opens it up for everyone else. It doesn't take into account either, Matt Forte or Reggie Bush catching the ball out of the backfield.

I have a ton of respect for the NFC West defense, but the firepower at the skill position and the NFL rules they have in place would make it next to impossible to stop them, when you have Aaron Rodgers with that many weapons.
