It's debatable.

Calvin Johnson —1,351–12
Josh Gordon —1,400–8

Alshon Jeffery —1,193–6
Antonio Brown —1,241–7

Brandon Marshall —1,090–9
A.J. Green —1,175–8

Jordy Nelson —1,046–7
Torrey Smith —963–4

And the guys you listed are the top recievers for each team.

Look at Marshall and Jeffrey, teammates, who do you stop? And these guys are doing it with a back-up.So has Nelson.
As far as Gordon,he is awesome, but his qbs are just plain trash. His back-ups could very well be the starter.
NFCN is better............

It would come down to the NFC west Defense vs NFC North offense. NFC West could still grind out a great run game to keep the NFC North Offense on the side line, thus NFC West wins!

Not sure how the NFC west would have any more success than the north running the ball with AP & Forte.

I dont see anyone scoring much on the defense the NFC West would throw out there.

Just take Seattle's secondary, SF's Linebackers and ST Louis' D-Line and thats enough right there. Arizona also has playmakers to add to each off those units

Really ? Rodgers throwing to Megatron, Marshall, Jeffery & Nelson ? You planning on man coverage for that crew ? Good luck with that.

The best front 7, and secondary in the league? Not even close? Yeah, I think we'd be okay against any offense.

Megatron went for 6/116/2 against Peterson this year...

and with Marshall, Jeffery running around back their too with Rodgers throwing and they have to account for AP & Forte as well ? Anyone who thinks they're going to shut that down hasn't been paying attention.

I'll give you the secondary. But I think Peppers, Suh, Fairley & Allen in front of Matthews, Briggs & Levy would do just fine. No question the west is better than the north and has much more depth. But I think the best 24 on 24 would be a great game.

Well since you put it that way you have swayed my vote....

Think maybe you could expound on that a little? Reasoning for your Synopsis?
Others who have posted here have already given the names of players so I will just say that the Defense the NFCW could put together would keep ANY offense of any other division to 3 and outs. Maybe a long range FG kicker might keep it close. The NFCW would have the talent and the depth on the D that no other division could match. If we add in a solid O-line, strong ST talent, a couple of top RBs, TE in Davis plus a few good WRs...it is no contest.

Give me:
Rodgers/Staffor over Wilson/Kaep
AP/Forte over Gore and Lynch
Calvin,Marshal,Alshon and Jordy over any of those listed above

Vernon definetley over martellus

Yeah, the offense from the north is a lot better.......

and yes,the defense would be lot better from the NFCW....

Too bad they couldn`t come up with type of scenario to be used for the proBowl.
it may kinda make it more interesting I guess.

That's so silly it's borderline trolling. Forget it. Scratch the borderline part.

Other than you not knowing what 'trolling' means on an internet board, why would you say my post is silly...do tell. Do you think any other offense vs the NFCW defense would stand a chance to score more than 10 points?

Because saying that any combination of defensive players would hold this

Aaron Rodgers
Adrian Peterson
Matt Forte/Reggie Bush
Calvin Johnson
Brandon Marshall
Alshon Jeffery
Jordy Nelson

to 3 & outs under today's NFL rules is ridiculous on its face to anyone who has ever seen these players in action. No further explanation should be necessary.

You could make a defense from the all time best defensive players ever and it would;t be able to stop that offense with today's nfl rules..

That's what I'm saying. Obviously we have no idea who would win the game. I'm not suggesting they'd torch the west, but those guys are going to score some points against anyone the way they call them today... and not just long range FGs. I just think it's funny how cocky some of these AFC West fans are. "It wouldn't be close". "Their D would dominate" and all of this crap. Sure the division is better and a lot deeper. But that's not what we're talking about here.

That would be the crutch for sure. I could see about 15 defensive holding calls, at least 8 roughing the passer calls, and 27 PI calls if the they wanted to .
