You do have a very good team to chear, they're one of the best in football. However, some of you are simply out of control. You've had a team to actually talk about for a year and a half. Considering you are talking to fans of teams like the Steelers, Pats, Cowboys, Packers and 49er's which all had dynasty's at one time, the Seahawks resume doesn't quit measure up as yet. Yet, some of you are making more noise than a whore screaming. Like I just said the Seahawks are a great team but until they actually win something important, like a SB, some of you need to tone it down a little.

Uh oh. This is gonna be a good one. But wait. The only reason the Pats were a dynasty was because they cheated!

Talk about letting a perception build up in your head....no offense.

I see nothing of comparison by Hawk fans to those dynasties you listed, let alone even insinuate such a thought.

I'm sorry, but isn't the purpose of these boards to talk about current events in the NFL? The NFL is a "what have you done for me lately" league. Beat your chest while you can because it might not last very long.

That and I'm pretty sure Seahawk fans going in to their bye week are a lot more focused on the showdown with the Saints in 2 weeks on Monday Night instead of idiotically claiming the Lombardi or a dynasty in week 11 lol.

Exactly, and how many chest thumping threads have the Seahawks started?

We are seen on many threads, like the "Rivalry" thread, started by the village idiot I may add.

I dont see what OP was talking about, he may just be drunk already.

There is an unusual amount of Seahawks fans here, deal with it. Most of them won't bite unless you troll them like Breaker. In which case, they are pretty annoying, so, yeah, don't troll them and you'll be fine

Seahawk fans coming out of the woodwork. Same old same old. After the divisional round exit, it will quiet down a little.

So if let's say a Dolphin fan or KC fan wanted to start some threads to discuss their team it would be OK with you because 4 decades ago they won the Championship? OK, got it dude. Not sure what any past champ has to do with this year but I guess you've got your standards.

Seriously though there should be some word for fans of teams that invoke ancient championships as some sort of way to try and silence fans from teams who are doing well NOW. Kind of like "Godwin's law" that says at some point in a debate the losing debater will inevitably invoke Hitler or the Nazis in attempt to win the argument. That is what people remind me of when they say "shut up, your team hasn't won a title. Until then you can't talk". I'm not sure what this new law should be called. Maybe I'll just invent it right now and name it:

Hammer's Law: When a fan with a currently good team with zero championships debates a fan who's team has won at least one championship sometime in the past, the fan of the championship team will at some point bring his team's past accomplishments into the debate, regardless of the actual topic at hand, in attempt to win a losing argument.

That will be another of your predictions that will blow up in your sad face. Keep `em coming.

As a side note, this thread is titled Seahawk fans and I am not at all surprised our village idiot stumbles in.

Who is in who's head?

I don't think he is talking about just starting some threads and talking football. I think he is more talking about the grandstanding and arrogance. In short his words should convey to you this message...

Your team is doing well so far, you should be pumped. But they still haven't done shit, and in fact never have done shit. In comparison to the teams that have done shit, your team is a laughingstock. So try and pretend like you have been there before and act like it. Because you are making fools of yourselves. Especially since every one of your teams seasons in its entire existence has ended in failure.

Does that help clarify?

You will predict that a team (obviously not yours) will beat Seattle in a game that would *most likely be a home game.

But you're too pussy to make a prediction about your own team?

You and Kaeptain Frontrunner have a lot in common.

* - Fuck that, it's going to be a home game because the niners certainly aren't catching them.

The only arrogance that Seahawks fans are exhibiting is that their team is currently much better than the niners.

Sorry that you're too mentally weak to handle that. You know who else is mentally weak?

I think you just invoked Hammer's law. Congrats. You are the first to do so since I invented it 5 minutes ago. lol
