He's worth it , IMO.

Best lead-off hitter and baserunner we've had in a decade or more with most of his prime still ahead
of him.

he's 30

supposedly played hurt last part of year

and wants 150 million?

no thank you

Nice Chris Brown sound effect......

Funny how putting a name to it can take it from "yes please" to "no thank you"...

That sound effect was my hand hitting the leaf...hard.

I'd hit that all afternoon, evening, and night.

I like Ellsbury to end up in Seattle, and to be the next Jason Bay.

He's asking what price would you pay for Ellsbury. I know you value defense, so you would give him $200mm for 10 years.

I wouldn't go more than 5yrs/$90mm. Speed doesn't age well, and it's not as if Ellsbury is an on base machine. When the speed starts declining, the average and OBP will go with it.

Ells isn't that old even if he is slightly older than I thought he was. He's going to be an asset for a long time to come even after he loses some of that speed. Which shouldn't happen for 2-3 years anyway.

Too young. And, I have less than zero respect for any woman that allows a man to beat on her.

She pressed charges. Fault her for getting back with the guy a few years later? Yes.

That ass is a lot better than I thought it was. No wonder Michael Cera slapped it in "This is the End".

Are the Chiefs good or just lucky as all hell?

Rookie QBs playing against them so you can't really say this is a great undefeated team... can you?
Its the Alex Smith Niners all over again. They can get to the Super Bowl with the right matchups and a little luck but they won't be able to blow anyone away. Colts and Bengals will be relative pushovers if they make the playoffs.

That said, the Chiefs haven't won a home playoff game in.....???????? 25 years? Its been a loooong time and this team isn't too different than the ones with Bono and Derrick Thomas that lacked explosiveness but played good defense and didn't make mistakes.

Let the Jackie Bradley Jr. era begin then?

Ready or not, here he comes!!

Bradley struggled in his first taste of the bigs, but he has shown great strike zone discipline in the minors. He is already a premier defender in CF, and has great instincts for the game. By all accounts, he is a good kid too.

I think he will be a better leadoff hitter than Ellsbury was. What Bradley lacks is Ellsbury's speed, so we lose that dynamic.

As Clayton pointed out last week, the Cards are a potential fit, and their pick is late in the 1st round. They may be willing to sacrifice it.
I would say a Tulo trade would still be ideal but Drew for a 1st wouldn't be unheard of given the number of young prospects the Cards already have. Heck, I would rather have Brendan Ryan than Kozma

I saw the Cards are willing to shop Lynn or Miller to get a SS. I can see that Colorado deal being Miller, Wong, and Adams for Tulo.

But, it came at a price. At first, there was only the slapping of air, but, it made the scene not work. Cera then asked if he could hit her for real, and, she agreed. On one condition. Every time he slapped her ass, she slapped him as hard as she could across the face.

So, while it looked good, it was not all fun and games after all.

The more good players the Sinstripes lose the better!

The less compensation they get, likewise.

More Sinstripe-free postseasons, please!

This is probably just me, but, if I am going to mortgage the farm to get a top free agent, I would want said player to be able to play at least 140 games a year.

Meaning, as of now, that ain't Tulo.
