To run the D they're trying to run you have to have a pass rush. With Brent and the DWI/manslaughter, Spencer injury, Ratliff BS, Spencer injury, Crawford on the first day of camp, and Ware injuries there's no way the D can be successful. I feel bad for the secondary.
Very true.

Great point. Our corners look lost in zone coverage tho.

Al Davis. He ruined the Raiders just like JJ has over the years.

Was he the GM? Really?

I always thought he had one - defacto for sure - but one none the less.

Learned something.

He and Jerry share similar ownership narratives. Both reach dynastic heights early in their tenure, and then fail to adapt to the changing league and are mired in mediocrity for years.

In Davis' defense, at least he didnt create a culture of nepotism in Oakland. All of Jerry's kids have pivotal roles in the cowboys FO. Drives me crazy

:agree:

At least Davis succeed and then fail on his own sword....so to speak. JJ doesn't even know there's a sword.

I'm sorry but Jones is one cluseless MF to be so smart and wealthy.

Just for lack of conversation, do you guys see salary caps in baseball in near future?

I doubt it. I don't think the MLBPA would ever let it happen.

That was Jerry's doing in football. He had everything working for him, won 3 SB's, and then he became a big proponent of implementing the cap in football. Now we can't get out of cap hell.

I really don't know myself but I keep wondering how high the owners are going to pay.

Gavin Floyd is close to signing a 1 year deal with an unknown team. I wonder if it's us. Seems like a JD pick up. Missed most of last year with TJ surgery.

Good.... Sabah would of been stupid to leave. He wouldn't get away with cheating at Texas like he does at Bama. Aggies watch Texas very closely.

Why would we care what Texas does at this point? Most of the good desirable coaches are locked up already, Texas is going to have to money whip somebody already under contract and none with the prestige of Saban

Plus we don't even play those guys anymore, and they're scared to play us right now anyway,
