Does Choo have any reason to want to go back to Cincy? I mean, did his family love it, his ties to any charity, etc? I guess I'm asking, is there and emotional attachment of which I'm unaware?

Thanks

No, I don't recall anything specific like that, but he did like it there. You obviously form bonds with teammates, and I haven't heard anything negative That's the reason I feel they're biggest competition. That is until someone swoops in and money whips him. If everyone was backing off like has been said, I think he would have signed already. Just a guess.

Thanks.....I follow all this pretty much, but must admit I lose focus on the journey for sure.

No, he would have been their 1st baseman.

Right, but my point was that Mitch wasn't going to be the centerpiece of a Price trade. He's a nice MLB piece to add to a trade, but that deal would hinge on our top prospects, not Moreland.

I don't see the reds contending anytime soon. I just don't think they have the pitching. They're losing arroyo, who has been a horse for them for years. Cueto is good, but after that its very iffy

Toast? They're right in the thick of NFC East

Latos > Cueto. They have Bailey, but after those 3 it's shaky. The craziest thing is the Votto extension hasn't kicked in yet!

Make of "toast" as you will.....I watched the Bears game and took in the FACT the Cowboy defense is on pace to be the worst in NFL history. Not kidding.

You do realize the Cowboy's on offense had no TO, the QB threw 3 TDs with no INTs and our running backs averaged 7.1 per carry yet got embarrassed on national TV to the Bears 2nd string QB yes?

Sorry.....but yes, I'm all in on toast.

The defense is abysmal. But, they're still in the race. Pull out a couple wins and see what happens week 17 vs Philly.

English muffins if not toast. Worse defense I can remember and I've been watching them since their first game. This is not a good football team. IMO

Hope springs eternal.

I don't know why we'd want to make the playoffs this season. Hell, we'll just get embarrassed again, for heavens sake.

And seriously, we're on pace - in fact we're smoking pace - to be the worst defensive team in the history of the NFL. Thank goodness Jerry had the good sense to fire Rob Ryan and save us from..................

It would take a boat load of holladisce sauce to smother this defensive effort.

Maybe next year our GM can trade a bunch of picks to move up and take another "can't miss" DB.

I think not making the playoffs is more embarrassing than getting smeared by a superior team. But, anything can happen in playoffs, ESP with Dalls' offense. Just get in and see what happens

Mo has been a disappointment, but switching to a zone base defense was biggest gaffe of all. Ugh, Jerry is clueless

I do honestly admire your optimistic attitude.

For me, the fact we've won ONE game in the PO over damn near the past 2 decades speaks ah-plenty.

I'm a diehard homer. Besides I grew up watching Rangers, so I'm used to mediocrity.

Let me ask: Has there ever been and an owner/GM who is same-same before JJ? For real, is he the only owner/GM in the history of the NFL?

To run the D they're trying to run you have to have a pass rush. With Brent and the DWI/manslaughter, Spencer injury, Ratliff BS, Spencer injury, Crawford on the first day of camp, and Ware injuries there's no way the D can be successful. I feel bad for the secondary.

Really don't know but if there was I bet they were a losing team.
