Shane Vereen - stash worthy?

12 team PPR, and he's on the wire. Is he worth a roster spot? It's in the league where I'm embarrassingly loaded at RB, but I figure why not? I have Roy Helu just sitting there on the bench right now doing nothing, and I also have Ryan Broyles whom I just picked up. Think it'd be worth dropping one of these and grabbing Vereen for playoff time?

As long as you really are "embarrassingly loaded at RB"...I see no reason not to pick him up. He could be a good end of the year spark.

He's a huge piece of the Pats O and will be worth starting when he returns. He looked great before the injury with 21 touches in week 1.

It's a 12-team PPR league, and it's normally pretty competitive. Sad thing is, I'm 1-2 right now. 2nd most points in the league, most points against.

Yeah he just hit the wire in my money league and I'm thinking the same. IMO he is stash worthy. I'd probably drop Helu....................

damn son, in my 12tm PPR league Charles was top 5 pick, Bush went early 2nd round -- like 14th or 15th pick overall, Gio went beginning of the 4th -- in the 20th-25th RB taken range. I thought that the owner that drafted Gio took him too soon to see any value. You cleaned up getting those RBs in a 12tmr, you already know what I think about that Rice deal!
