Most of us already know that Lebron is arrogant, conceited and worships himself. He thinks he is God's gift to the world and has convinced his minions to kiss his ass, and certainly is out for himself and is loyal only to himself.

When you think about it all of those traits are a perfect fit in Boston:10:

pass. him going to Boston would almost be funny in a way, though...

Without Doc Rivers there to run the show, It wouldn't be enough any way and it would be just funny as hell to see these Miami bitches whining all year long

Why is everyone convinced that Doc is such a great coach? The Celtics fans were calling for his head before he got the big 3. Those were mature, self-driven players who could have been coached by a bag of rocks once they got together. I'll be very interested this year to see how he does with good players who actually need coaching. If he does well with the Clips I'll finally buy in, but I bet the real team leadership went to Brooklyn not LA.

The Clippers are cursed by the owner - Rivers will not do good enough to make them happy. No coach can do that

Which is why I don't understand that people think Clippers are labeled here as an elite team:doh:

Well I have never said the Clippers are an elite team and I agree with you.

I think Doc Rivers was a perfect fit in Boston and the combination was just that unique, but I don't think the same chemistry will necessarily exist in Los Angeles. We will see though

No chance in hell, he is going bqck to Cleveland. I have heard from some of his close friends he is already planning to go back once he gets his 3rd title in Miami.

WRONG!!!

My Celtics have won so many titles at least partly due to staying far, far away from headcases howevertalented
they may be. And getting rid of the players who turn into head cases.

Doing a better job than other teams of evaluating players who don't fit conventional molds is the Celtics thing.
That's how they got both Dave Cowens and Rajon Rondo, both of them generally considered too small
to play as well in the NBA as they had in college.

LeUnethical James may fantasize about becoming a Celtic, but they'll tell him to take the proverbial long walk off a short pier.

No offense, and although I have a deep respect for the Celtics history of winning. Alot of that came in the 60's, 70's and 80's. If you want to get technical in the last 25 years, the Celtics have one NBA title. At least with the Lakers they've been consistent at winning (3-peat going from 2000-2002 and the repeat in 2009-2010). I'll admit it, getting Rondo at the 21st pick was a steal. But we can stop saying that the Celtics mimic the Spurs front office in terms of evaluating players.
