We can't beat them. It's two embarrassing losses in a row. They were built to beat us

Give Seattle its due. Their fans make that atmosphere rediculius. Won't be able to watch sports for another week. We have shit to work on with colts coming to town.

Good hard fought game. Could have easily been closer. Can't wait for the game in SF.

And you're trying to justify Kaep is not worth extending off 1 game. I can go back to last season and keep pulling great games from him. The Green Bay playoff game ring a bell? How about coming just short of leading the greatest Super Bowl comeback in history? Seattle is just a tough place to play. We did not take advantage of our chances early and that cost us the game. It's really as simple as that and does not mean we are suddenly a bad team with a bad QB.

No you're wrong, I'm not trying to justify Kaep not being worth top money off of one game, this is just further evidence of that fact. What I'm saying is that at this point Kaep hasn't earned the type of contract that people are suggesting he will get. And that is an absolute fact. Alex Smith had great games too, should we have extended him?

Are you really giving him credit for losing the Superbowl? He did nothing in the 1st half of that game, had he played up to par for the whole game we would have won.

I didn't say we are a bad team with a bad QB. I said that Kaepernick needs to earn a huge extension just like anyone else. He hasn't done that yet, he hasn't even played in a full season. As far as we know, teams have figured him out. He needs to prove that this is not the case.

Good game 9ers fans. Despite the outcome of this game, I fully expect San Fran to beat Seattle down in Candlestick. It's a long season and the 49ers are a damn good team. Good luck until the next meeting.

I start with gameplan and playcalling. Then Kaep. Then oline. Then stupid penalties which goes back to coaching. Maybe this beat down will make them not be so arrogant and fucking stop with the cutesy bull shit.

Gameplan and Playcalling are right there for me... I feel the option was completely useless but no one did anything to change it. The absence of a NFL running formation/play is hurting us. The option should be a sprinkle and not the basis of the offense.

Kap was dreadful and awful. I don't know how to explain his reading process. He took too long and was indecisive and made horrible throws. WTF jackass? His control on the offense was terrible tonight, no confidence nor right calls all night. He was off as off as can be.

I made a comment about bringing back singletary, only to have his voice back in these guys ears... we need some hard life on our boys to grit them up. They've been going soft on me lately.

And good night. Do us all a favor and keep your shtick off our board.

I have a sneaking suspicion that anyone who starts posting on a message board that he graduated top of his class at a university is probably bagging groceries and living in a basement, he should be banned for that reason alone.

Because as our team is getting curb stomped bringing up history back 20-30 years ago is lame

I completely disagree. The history of this team makes them what they are, when teams win Superbowls it is a measure of how successful of a franchise they are. To just forget about those accomplishments are severely discrediting this team, especially when discussing a game that is light years below in terms off significance. The fact that there is only one team that can they that they are more successful than us is a HUGE deal and should be treated as such.

Their secondary literally won them the game tonight. The rest of their team played really good too, but there was nobody to throw to.

Their coverage ain't no joke. What's even worse is that Kap already faced them last year. I have no issues facing Seattle again, this kid has got to learn. We got rid of Alex because we felt like he couldn't get past the Giants (and his noodle arm). We are the Packers achilles heel, the secondary for Seattle has become Kaepernick's.

I know nobody wants to say this but he needed an ass whoopin.

I'm with you on this Dodub. If we're going to lose our identity of a feared power run team and going from the best team in the division to the 2nd best team just because of the QB, it's definitely not worth the money.

If we can't beat Seattle now, how can we expect to beat them when we give Kaepernick anywhere near Flacco money and a few key players gone? They get better, we get worse when we already worse.

Alex Smith at $9mil/year was a great deal, and Kaepernick hasn't shown he's even worth that. Honestly though, if we do pay him more than Rodgers' second deal ($9mil/year) then we deserve to not be the best team in the NFC West.

To me, it starts and ends with Kaepernick and Roman. I have no issues with our D facing their offense anymore (barring injury of course). I have always thought our oline was a little overrated especially in pass protection so regardless if they have issues in this aspect, there's a reason why Kaepernick is a dynamic QB, he can make plays outside of the pocket.

Trust me, no QB will do well against this secondary this season if they don't have the WR's to match theirs.
