Here we go:
Solid road test of Seahawks. Preseason, but should be loud @ Lambeau tonight with the cheeseheads looking for anyway to boo Tate and throw the offense off.
Danny O'Neil of 710Sports.com labels DT Tony McDaniel, WR Stephen Williams and FB Spencer Ware as three players who should receive their fair share of opportunities tonight in Green Bay.
We should get the best look yet at what DT Tony McDaniel can do at the 3-tech on this team.
Defensive tackle Jordan Hill is out of today's game with a strained bicep. Fellow rookie defensive tackle Jesse Williams, wide receiver Sidney Rice, tight end Zach Miller, fullback Michael Robinson, and guard James Carpenter are also out against the Packers. Pass rushers Bruce Irvin and Cliff Avril are game-time decisions.
Packers will be another solid test of our run and pass D, but they're very thin at the WR position right now with Jordy Nelson & Randall Cobb out due to injuries. Rodgers went heavy with the TE's last week so watch for how we matchup against Jermichael Finley tonight.
We sacked the hell out of Roders the last game and we can dial up a lot of pressure on him tonight with LT Bryan Bulaga out with a ACL. Vince Young is one of their backups now. Expect to see him out there tonight once Rodgers is finished.
Watch for GB to run the ball a respectable amount of time tonight as well. Eddie Lacy is looking like the real deal and will be a test of our run D.
Green Bay got smoked in the playoffs last year with the read-option. Let's see how well they can defend against it tonight if PC dials some up heavy RW and Lynch action.
PC mentioned this week he wants to see less penalties tonight as we've had a high amount the past two games. Refs are always flag happy in the preseason, but will be nice to see a lower final penalty count against us tonight, than games 1&2.
