No!! You're stupid because you can't follow any points (as you proved yet again in the post that I responded to prior to this one) and because you want to believe that Kobe is the reason Dwight left even though he not only never said Kobe was the reason, but even went so far as to specifically say that playing with Kobe had no part in his decision.

At least, in what I said, he did specifically state that he wanted Phil!! It's much more logical to believe that D'Antoni was why he left rather than Kobe since he did specifically say that he wanted a different coach!!

That's why your stupid!! Well, that and the fact that the above actually had to be explained to you!!

it's pretty obvious Turnip's going to keep living with his head up his ass. also obvious he wants to keep blaming Kobe for all the Lakers ills like he's been trying to do for a while now...

Both you and CL are skirting around the issue and what we are talking about and that is that neither of you stated that you didn't want him back until after it was pretty obvious he wasn't coming back.

Wrong again!! Glad to see that your off to such a good start this morning!! I said for most of the season that I wanted him back. I started changing my opinion when I saw how he performed in the playoffs vs. San Antonio and said that I no longer cared if he came back or not.

I also gave my reason why I didn't care, which was that I knew he would never be the person that would lead the Lakers back to the finals. Even if Dwight re-signed, the Lakers were not going to be able to just put pieces around him. They were going to have to sign someone else who could actually LEAD the team!!

Let me try to explain it different way (since you're having trouble following along)!! If the Lakers were to sign Lebron next summer, they could then busy themselves with putting complimentary pieces around him without having to worry about finding someone who could actually be the team leader!! With Dwight, they would still have to find someone who could lead the team!!

Do you see the difference? Probably not!!

nope. i had a feeling he wasn't coming back anyways, which btw is something i posted on the Lakers board during the season. it's a shame you 1) have reading comprehension issues 2) are a victim of chronic rectal-cranial inversion. so, while you continue your silly angle(one of MANY you attempt around here) DO quit with your assumption. they make you look RATHER foolish...

and obtw, if someone doesn't want to play for the Lakers i'd say clearly that any Lakers fan with a brain wouldn't want him back. keep up the entertainment, ol' sock...

Once AGAIN, nice STORY, but its total bullshit,

The post I quoted you on, the one where you say Howard must be kept, was posted BY YOU on May 2nd

The Lakers were eliminated on April 28th.

So your mind changed during the playoffs

Try again!

And as far as why Howard left, my reasoning has always been exactly what Howard said. Better chance of winning now and in the foreseeable future.

You 2 clowns want to make it a Kobe vs DAntoni reason.
Fact is he didn't want to be around either one of them.

Wrong again dumbass!! I said that if the choice is Dwight or D'Antoni, you pick Dwight!! I never said that the Lakers must pick Dwight and I stated on multiple occasions that I no longer cared if Dwight re-signed or not, beginning with the end of the playoff series with the Spurs!! That is when my doubts about him were confirmed!!

Additionally, if you are trying to use my answer to the 3rd question from your quote, you will notice that I said "the Lakers are sold on him", I never said that I was sold on him.

You should probably quit for the day, your only embarrassing yourself at this point!!

You said he was a top player in the NBA. You never came close to ever implying the Lakers shouldn't keep him because of anything you saw in the playoffs , EVER until you thought he was leaving.

I know you guys don't have much going on but I'm moving on from these ridiclous discussions with you.

Your argument and posts speak for themself. If you are glad he is gone. Good for you. Enjoy chasing an 8 seed.

Then the other 2 idiots. We have one guy who says he never picked the Lakers to beat the Spurs combined with he never visited my page. Ok. Really makes sense to continue to debate with someone that bright.

And lastly, we have the Laker fan who was going to provide me with evidence that the Lakers F A signees had better/ other offers elsewhere. I'm still waiting.
Can anyone help him out?

Then, you all somehow want to make a argument that a team minus Howard and World Hate, not to mention Earl Clark combined with Kobe coming off surgery could be better then last years team.

What you now have is a much worse edition of DAntonis Suns teams.

Who are your defenders?

You will have one if the worst road records in the entire NBA.

Wow, awfully full of yourself, aren't you?

First off, as I stated, I never said that Dwight MUST be re-signed. I did say that when he is healthy he is a top player, I also said that I don't think he has what it takes to lead a team to a championship and that I no longer cared if he re-signed or not!!

Just because a player is a top player in the league, doesn't mean he has what it takes to lead a team to a championship!! If you can't understand the difference, then I'm sorry, but I can't make it any clearer for you!! You will just have to take your ball and go home (which from the first part of your post is your plan anyway)!!

Additionally, I saw the thread to which you are referring and the Laker fan that you claim was going to provide "evidence" for, never said any such thing!! His response to you was "Like I said, I provided evidence only once. I am done". This may come as a surprise to you, but just because you ask for someone to provide "evidence" because you want to play "e-lawyer" on everyone's posts, doesn't mean that you get what you ask for!! The poster you are referring to told you in his first post, he was posting it one time and one time only!!

Additionally, I don't think that this team is going to be better than last years team, at least not talent wise. I think this team is going to be fun to watch, but I don't see them finishing better than a 6th seed in next seasons playoffs, and that's assuming Kobe is back to close to where he was last season and Nash and Pau stay healthy (potentially big "if's").

I have said all along that the Laker plan (even pre-Dwight) was to get through this season as best they can and prepare for the 2014 and 2015 free agent groups!! The opportunity to get Dwight was one that the Lakers basically HAD to take a chance on (even though the Lakers kept being on and off of his list of teams he wanted to be traded to) because he is a top level talent. It didn't work out, so now they go back to the original plan!!

funny. we have one idiot who keeps blaming all the ills of the Lakers on Kobe, continues to post about the Lakers even though he's a Heat fan, and continues to deny all of his wrongdoing IN SPITE of the evidence that everyone's seen on these boards. HILARIOUS!! if this fool hasn't proven he's a complete assclown by now then everybody here's dead to this barfbag's deceptions. Turnip, let's face it. as a human being you're utter garbage. funny as hell, though. tell you what, you keep up with these idiotic ravings. let's see how many folks(outside of your equally idiotic butt buddy Jim Doors) buys into it...

keep up with the good work, threadclown...:laugh3:

the only problem with the lakers is you build this team for D'Antoni and he gets fired, you have taken 3 steps back. Nobody coaches like D"antoni. He should have never been hired.

well, that goes in line with BOTH the last hirings. Mike Brown clearly couldn't handle superstars(has a history of it, in fact) and ALSO had no business being there. i still think D'Antoni's an upgrade over Mr. Potato Head, but only a slight one...

agree that if D'Antoni gets canned their gonna have to start from the ground up again...which is why i honestly think he's on a short leash. if he DOES get the axe we're probably looking at either this season or next to see it happen...

No Laker fan that I know of necessarily disagrees with you!! I think that we are all hopeful that he can re-create what he had in Phoenix only with the ability to get the team past the WCF this time!!

Barring something unforeseen, I see D'Antoni getting about 3 seasons (maybe 4) to show what he can do!! If the Lakers don't like the progress, then I expect he will be sent packing!!

I think the Lakers are committed to MDA this season. They are building a team with players better fit for his style and everybody is basically on one year deals. It wouldn't necessarily being taking steps back. The reset button on the roster will be hit next summer regardless of this season's results (baring some miracle midseason trade).

As far as your evidence ramble and e- lawyer, what are you even talking about?? He made his claim and said he would provide his evidence or whatever once. Problem for him and now apparently you is that it never happened. Then you somehow want to piggyback on it?
Best thing about all if it was that I never said that they were or were not offered other deals. I only said I hadn't seen any. Based on the aftermath, apparently nobody else has either.
