This is true - that's the reason people like Shaq Oneal hired a coach to teach him before he gave up. When you are on a miission to being called the best in the NBA ever, however that's what you do - you work on those problems that makes you a liability.

I never said it is easy - nothing in life that is worth getting is easy, but if you're an elite player or a superstar - that's what you do - you make an sincere effort to correct your problems and become better

Yeah of course. I think he has made an effort to practice, but I don't think he is in the gym shooting a couple thousand FTs like Ray Ray and other great free throw shooters do. But now he might have to start if he is on a mission to make that another great part of his game.

I saw more then a few threads and posts on CBS, that said exactly that, so cut the crap and quit acting like no one ever said it because many did even though I don't think you was one of them.

I don't care about CBS. Why are you bringing up CBS on SportsHoopla?

You guys need to know that potentially and is are not the same thing

By his own mouth though - He hasn't tried - He already said he hasn't given it his 100% - That's a given. I believe him, because I don't think the others like Dwight Howard has tried to either - a person can try and succeed if they try hard enough and I expect that from a professional player earning 20 million dollars a year. I don't expect that from a scrub.

But many of the people are the same people that admantly insisted that "Lebron was the greatest player ever in the NBA" It's not about cbs it's about the Miami Heat fans that wants to now pretend they never said that. Can't say that I blame them though for trying to deny they said something that stupid:laugh3:

Lebron will never be a good ft shooter for 2 reasons. First he has an ugly shot, and poor technique. Let's remember, Lebron's game is 100 pct athleticism, very little skill...

Secondly, Lebron is also a choker and poor under pressure. When you shot ft's the crowd goes silent (at home), and everyone stares at you. All eyes are on the shooter, and as we know, Lebron always chokes under pressure. He'll always get nervous at the ft line, and always be a mediocre ft shooter.

Peace!!!

pretty LOL some of the comments.

With Durant having little success on his own in the playoffs when westbrook was out I think that Lebron has a pretty good chance of earning another MVP. Especially if his game gets better in the offseason.

I almost feel like he was saving something for his prime. He has to throttle his attempts for the teams sake but next year I am really hoping he takes a couple more shots per game (coming from Wade's) and he will be very close to 50-40-90 next year. Imagine him averaging 30-8-7 with 50-40-90. That would be one of greatest seasons of all time.

Given the ridiculous difference in athleticism and how the game is called nowadays, He should be able to outdo Larry by a much wider margin than that.

This thread is pure comedy and a clown circus. Lebron has been smart and improved his game in more important areas. Its called prioritization. To him ft are evidently low on his list. Why does it matter if he has already won a ring due to his other improvements? Yes he should work on them and I'm pretty sure he will. I guess haters need something to whine about. :laugh3:

Lebron won an Asterisk Ring last year, because he chose better teammates in Miami. Not because he improved his game. Furthermore, Lebron got ouplayed in the finals by Durant. ....3 times in the finals, 3 times getting outplayed.

Kobe didn't need to to make a secret pack with 3 other Olympians at the 2008 games to form a super team. Kobe won his rings with 1 allstar in Shaq. And another allstar in Gasol. Not the Miami Dream team....

Pretty gutless....All I'm saying is let's see lebron win a non-asterisk ring without Wade, Bosh, and Ray Allen. Till he does NO ONE's impressed.

Peace!!!

Lebron improved his game is a given, but I said last year that he would get better. That was just something everyone should have known would happen.

In response to Dumb Ass Sman's statement that Lebron chose better team mates as a reason for winning a championship - my response would

SO WHAT?

Every player in the NBA is trying to do the same when he leaves one team for another - that's nothing new, wrong or immoral

IF you recall he had the same teammates the year Dallas beat them. Dallas forced Lebron to the left side of the court taking advantage of his tendency to shoot jumpers going left. Lebron worked on his post game and going left all the way to the basket that summer and they won a ring. Yes with the same teammates. I think Durant would have happily let Lebron win the individual stat award if he could have won a ring instead. I think Lebron could care less that Durant outplayed him. Lebron won a ring and on the way to another. Durant has yet to get one.

Why do you guys respond to Sman anyway - the more you respond, the more crap he spews out. It's like feeding a pig - the more you feed a pig, the fatter he gets and the more fat will be in his ham. If you want a good pig with lean me - don't overfeed him

If I don't respond once in awhile he just gets boring. I prefer him being funny. If he wants to quit his job as the head french fry cook at Carls Jr. he definitely has a career as a custodian. Oops! I mean a comedian! :laugh3:

To my knowledge Carls Jr has a drug testing program, so I don't think a crackhead like Sman could be working there:yahoo:

You know what though - I forgot that Carls Jr has a specialty program that hires adults with down syndrome. They have them doing basic cleaning the floors and etc. That must have been him I saw:suds:
