Outside of Austin & Patterson, I really like DeAndre Hopkins (HOU 1st rd pick) to make an impact in fantasy as a WR3/4, in starting lineups in 12+ leagues, spot starter in 10 teamers. Just like Tavon, he won't have much going in the form of competition for reps, the only thing that worries me is the number of targets he gets after AJ/Daniels/Foster get theirs. Can't imagine a situation where a safety on the opposing team would even know/care where Hopkins is at when they are looking for those 3 guys every play.

Another guy that I think could show up on fantasy radars is Keenan Allen for SD. Rivers likes to throw to big WRs, and the guy looked like he had great hands in college, which should come in handy since Rivers has taken a nosedive the last couple of seasons.

As for RBs, much like previous years, a number of guys drafted this year could make or break your fantasy season depending on if the starters on their teams get injured. My favorites pre-draft were Knile Davis & Lacy, but post-draft, I think Lacy & Bernard will be given the best chance to lead rookie RBs. GB taking Franklin also might make things tougher on Lacy, and Davis has to have an injury to Charles before getting real fantasy consideration. I really wanted Davis to hang around so the Rams could draft him, but Zac Stacy looks to be 1 good preseason away from getting a nice chunk of playing time as a rookie.

and if there is still a spot open in the suicide league for me, Id love to do it again. I can draft pretty much on any evening, as long as I know ahead of time.

If it's going to be a problem I can probably make it during the week.

48 rbs!! thats alot i was thinking 25 QBS.. 30 rbs and 30 wrs..

I'm with RT and Treff... that's too many. We only need a sampling of each position. Do you remember last season's projections? Some top 10's were a disaster. Do we really need to explore the tier 4 and 5 RB positions to prove a point? And keep in mind, Wil, that you'll be the guy tabulating about 100 players multiplied times 10 or 12 guys = 1200.

How about limiting it to the top 15 QB, and the top 25 RB?

All right - June 30, 7pm ET?
Works for me.

And for the rankings... I just looked, and these were the actual RBs 37-48 last year:
Tolbert
Reece
Powell
FJAX
Dwyer
Bryce Brown
M. Bush
Redman
LSH
Daniel Thomas
David Wilson
Jackie Battle

So yeah, let's only do 36 RBs. Do we really want to include WRs?

Well I was planning on doing them, but I surely don't expect you to keep track of them. I'll do my own just for shits and giggles though.

I'm trying to figure out which if any of the Rams RBs is going to be fantasy relevant. My guess is the most important aspects will be not making mistakes in pass protection and holding on to the ball. Stacy, maybe?

I've got Pead pegged as my hope to be a RB3. Richardson is blah..and I don't know enough about the others yet. I did kinda sorta like most of what I saw from Pead. Overall a situation to probably avoid if possible.

Rams RB Situation - absolutely NOT worth looking into fantasy implications until preseason starts up. I wouldnt touch any one of them in draft in June, unless there are literally no options left. It is a murky looking 4 horse race at this point, between Pead, Richardson, Ganaway, and now Stacy.

Les Snead was thrilled that Stacy was available to them in 5th round, and was the last RB left on their board. Not sure how 'thrilled' you can be getting the last player that you deemed worth a draft pick at a particular position, but it is his job to be pumped about all of his draft picks at this point. Local radio likes Ganaway, and they thought he was given time to learn the playbook/get comfortable at NFL level last year, as the true heir to SJax. He even dances behind the block instead of hitting the hole (or the defender) as hard as a player his size should. Word out of college was that he has nice hands and is a good route runner, so could be useful in short yardage and passing situations.

Sorry for such a long post, but I do think that 1 RB from the Rams will be fantasy useful this season, but that it is way too early to know who will be producing on Sunday.
