K-State jumps into third. Now with UO playing Colorado this week, does ND have a good chance to jump them if they beat OU in Norman? The homer in me says yes...

Actually the winner of the ND/OU game has a good chance of jumping Oregon this week, especially if it's a blow out. :duck:

They are a good team and would horrify Nebraska along with 85% of the other teams, but I still expect Oregon to drop a game in the regular season so where they are in the Top 5 is moot to me.

I don't see how a 1 lose OU team could jump an undeafted Oregon team.

However, if ND does win, then yes, they will jump Oregon.

Agreed.

I hope that doesn't happen as I don't want to have to feel sorry for Oregon.

If ND beats Oklahoma they are guaranteed to jump the Ducks.

In the AP/Coaches Poll? If OU obliterates ND, there will be folks that vote them number two despite having one loss.

I feel for the level-headed UO posters...but a hearty NEENER NEENER NEEEEEE-NERRRRRRRRR must be lofted in OD's general direction.

Besides, Oklahoma's schedule has been tougher than Oregon's up to this point. Oklahoma at 30 (based on past opponents), Oregon at 49. It's not like Oklahoma got blown out by a scrub either; right now, I would give the nod to Oregon for being undefeated, but if Oklahoma blows out Notre Dame, I would consider putting them above Oregon in my poll.

If ND wins in Norman they will jump Oregon even if the Ducks win 100-0.

What if's are great. What if Oregon wins out on their remaining schedule? I mean beating USC, Stanford and Oregon. ST in 3 out of the last 4 games would have to put us where exactly? Oh yeah I forgot we have a candy schedule. Anyway it doesn't really matter. As a long time fan, I love where this team is now, Love the money being spent, keeping up with the other elite programs across the country is fun and enjoyable. For me it makes watching the games all that more exciting.

I like watching Iowa get beat 38-14 against a PSU team that has lost 10 plus kids as a.result of.a.*********...i also like watching my coach chewing his gum and.acting like the shit his kids produce on the field doesnt phase him
