What happens if both Minnesota and Baylor go 13-0?
We just cancel all future College football seasons. At that point we’re done.

Sadly at this point im convinced Bama is a lock for the playoff, regardless of what else happens, unless they happen to choke against Auburn.

You get the TUA WASNT 100% mulligan along with of "well their only loss was to #1" narrative jammed down our throats while complete ignoring the fact that Alabama has absolutely zero quality or near quality wins (I suppose Auburn will count as their lone if they beat them) based on the committees past actions I cant see them leaving Bama out at this point minus a loss to Auburn.
To be honest, people are too quick to assume a win over Auburn. This is a team that played LSU much tougher, and at LSU no less. Alabama has to go to Auburn, so it's far from being a guarantee, regardless of if Auburn loses to Georgia or not.

I just dont think Auburn is a team that can pull that kind of game out, they can get close sure, but to this point havent shown the ability to close it.

Oklahoma winning out could make it very interesting. They bring the brand along with the conference championship and what will most likely end up with a higher SOS. Oregon and Utah could make the same arguement but they dont have the clout Oklahoma has and the PACs recent OOC and bowl performance will do them no favors.

If Baylor is undefeated and all else remains the same Bama will not get in.

Unless a few more folks who ain't supposed to lose do so, don't see Bama getting in the playoffs even with a curb-stomp of the barn.

I think tonights ranking will be pretty telling of what they actually think of Bama

If they are still in the top 4 then they are getting in if they win out.

If Minny is in the CCG then they have only one loss or are undefeated. I dont think the committee leaves out a one loss B1G champ. Its whether Ohio State would also get in.

I dont think its speculation that an undefeated P5 champ gets in over a one loss who didnt win their own division. That's a certainty to me.

They left out a one lost Big 10 Champion last year-Ohio State.

Honestly ANY currently unbeaten or 1 loss P5 that finishes with 1 loss or less will have a better resume thsn Bama could possibly end up with .

That includes a 1 loss Baylor, a 1 loss Minnesota or a 1 loss P12 champ.

Ironically the only exception to this may be a 1 loss Clemson .

You honestly expect a 1 loss champion such as Baylor, or Minnesota to pass Bama? Really?

Well what would happen and what should happen are rarely the same. But make no mistake, either of those 2 would have better resumes.

Both could be gone from the ranks of the unbeaten this week. Not impossible.

Where was the one loss team that got let in there that didnt even win their division?

There was none. Everyone at least won their division or in the case of Oklahoma, won the conference.

That's what I'm saying gives a one loss team a chance if they have a CC while Bama does not. They could still go with Bama, but there is a good possibility they dont as well.

Tonight's rankings should give us an inkling into this. I think Bama will be 4th, but if Minnesota was to run the table, then they could pass Bama.

Sure but even them if they both won kut after their resume would be vastly superior to Bamas

It's amusing how Georgia's loss to a terrible South Carolina team is going pretty much ignored........Playoff committee puts them at 4 this week

I will go on record right now and predict Auburn wins this one in 3rd OT.

Be prepared to have your mind blown!

They absolutely SHOULD. Doesnt mean they will. But i never said they would. Just that theyd have a better resume if they did
