Yeah the only thing that will make that hurt less is if we win a Super Bowl sometime before too long. It really pisses me off that Matty Ice never got a ring, he was a great QB for us for a long time, and the Super Bowl 51 choke was NOT his fault, Shanahan’s play calling was stupid at the end, we should’ve run the ball 3 straight plays and then kicked a FG when we were in Pats territory near the end, it would’ve put us up 31-20 and basically sealed the game, instead the dumbass called a pass play on 2nd down and we got a sack and a holding penalty and had to punt. Still pisses me off to think about it.

Yeah I hear you. I think Super Bowl 49 is arguably the greatest Super Bowl ever, between quality of the game and quality of the two teams in it, but yeah it has to be heartbreaking for Seahawks fans. At least you guys won it the year before.
How could they possibly know that? Who cares who is returning in May. Let’s see what percentage is returning for week 1. I am quite sure the Cowboys percentage will drop as the McCarthy bottom of the roster guys are churned…
It absolutely was his fault. Regardless of the playcalling it's the QB who calls for the snap. Ryan repeatedly called for the snap when there were 10+ seconds on the play clock with the game clock running. He gave the Patriots at least 90 seconds more than they should have had. The 4th quarter clock mismanagement was huge.
I don’t agree - if we had just run the ball 3 straight times we would’ve remained in FG range and made it a 2 possession game. Shanahan’s stupidity was the main thing that cost us. Shanahan is a chronic choker in big games.
