Day 2…I actually liked what the Browns did until they drafted a midget in the 3rd round that they could have drafted in the 6th. I really just don’t get it. Speechless.
Steelers drafted a RB with their 2nd pick (3rd round)

I was disappointed it wasn't Skattebo.

Just when you thought the Browns were finally doing the right thing they trade up to get Sanders.
And PIT takes the smart, high character leader in the 6th. Fuck Haslam

I said I didn’t want Shedeur at all but in the 5th…whatever. Gabriel? I’m not sure the plab there. I mean all this just doesn’t make a lot of sense. Other than the QB picks…I like the draft

Yeah I agree Sanders in the 5th is actually good value. Like you said with Gabriel already picked it didn’t make much sense. Just imagine the player you could have gotten instead of Gabriel earlier?

Xavier Watts was there. I liked him at safety. Could have picked a nice WR, OT…the list goes on

They’re going to do a show on Bravo - The Cleveland Browns Quarterback Room.

That’s called Hard Knocks. No way they pass this team on that opportunity
Nah. Hard Knocks is a sports show. I got it right. Bravo is a channel for womanish shit talking and drama. This is like the next generation of Facts of Life and Joe Flacco is Mrs. Garrett.

I swear the team ownership in Cincy has something against Joe Burrow.
They did get an IOL - which was needed. Guy graded out as one of the, or the, best pass-blocking guard last year. 1% pressure rate, or something like that. I wanted the other Georgia IOL, Ratledge, but I'm good with the guy they got. The returned Higgins and Chase and Gesicki - and while I would like to have seen a true slot selected at some point - the offense, outside of IOL, has been pretty set for awhile.

I actually don't mind the LB pick. He's older, so a lower ceiling, but has a very high floor. On a defense that needed a LB that could come in immediately and tackle, cover, and do what is needed, it was a decent pick. They likely could have gotten him in the 3rd, but there was a pretty solid drop-off at LB compared to IOL, which I think had more depth - so I get the reasoning behind reaching a bit for the LB, and they still landed a pretty decent IOL in round 3.

Rounds 4-5-6 were decent. What makes/breaks this draft is Stewart in round 1. As I said - on a defense that needed immediate production - they took a guy that had very little actual production. Dude is a freak athlete - 10/10 on the RAS. #1 since 1987, but despite all those intangibles, he couldn't produce any real eye-popping stats. 4 career sacks. Just 1.5 last year, and only 11 TFL. Personally, I wanted Harmon, but if they felt the need for a DE, then I would have leaned Pearce there over Stewart. Again, with the immediate need for production, I'm just not sure this is the swing you take at this time.

Al Golden is going to have his hands full - but one thing I do like about him, he constantly evolves his defense to tailor around what the players he has can/can't do. So, rather than pound square pegs into round holes, he adjust. Something Lou simply could not do. The Bengals defense doesn't have to be top 10 for Burrow to win. They just can't be bottom five giving up 38 points a game in 5-6-7 games.

Can’t imagine what went through Kenny Pickett’s mind this offseason after going to CLE… first they grab you then they sign Flacco… and then they drafted not 1 but 2 QBs.

lmao

If Kenny Pickett is scared about beating any of the guys in this shit show out he might as well accept the ball cap and clipboard at this point. They have 5 QBs and I don’t think any of them are any good right now.
