I always talked about it being bad for the game. Some other idiot tried to talk about math. Go back and look. Jordan and Malone played a game of basketball that was superior, more complex and more complete than the game today.
Wait you are a big fan of MJ and his game?

Why haven't you said so?

Because I hadn't watched him in a while. Then I saw a 13 minute clip of game 6. And I shared with the forum that it existed and how enjoyable it was to watch. You're welcome.

I think that you are the only one who has voiced a hatred for the play. I feel that most like it.
Except maybe the ones who are out of touch with modern times.
lol, you’re the analyticals …

Why not let all teams compete.

what’s the chance of any of these teams winning it all

By that logic you should just have the top two teams of each conference in a four team playoff.

takin things outta context for reactions from the usual suspects…

There’s a surprise
Not really. If you look at the history of the NBA championship it is very rare for anyone not a 1 or 2 seed to win it. Go past 3 and there are only 2 champions, a 4 and a 6. So what are the chances of any of them winning?

And let me ask is that really a bad thing? It may occasionally mean a team that is marginal playoff grade getting a to pick to become an actual contender as opposed to the worst team getting the top pick and at best becoming mediocre (barring a LeBron-like talent).
In the NBA those fringe playoff teams don't really have a chance at the championship anyhow, why not give them a shot at a top prospect to then boost their odds?

If you're not going to get the top prospects to the neediest teams, start contracting teams. We know that won't happen, so nix the lottery.

The reason you liked it was that you wanted the sub .500 Eastern conference team matchup. Let's not pretend about that either.
You do you. Of course Boston and Cleveland have MUCH easier paths, that was the point of the info. And I kind of think one of the best regular season teams in history just might deserve an easier path if it were there.

which isn't much of a consolation when you lose out on someone like Wemby
Which comes along once every decade or so.
As a Pistons fan am I mad we missed on Wemby? Only very marginally, I am perfectly happy that we got Ausar.
