Traded Hali to get Sabonis and all you got out of it was a first round appearance losing in 7 to the Warriors in 2023

B2B play-in round eliminations 2024 and this season. EPIC FAIL

I said that trade was an abomination when they made it.

Nobody else agreed with me.

Every move they have made since has been short sighted and really capping the team’s upside.

You’re wrong

Maybe 1 or 2

Most were saying it was good for both teams.

It is almost never good to trade a young all star caliber player for an older one.

Only exception might be if your team is 1 piece away from a title contender and they are landing that piece.

Kings haven’t been close to that level since the Webber teams.

I disagree that it was an abomination of a trade. I think it worked for both teams.
I do agree that every move since then has been terrible.
The Kings were a lottery team that became a 3rd seed after the trade. They were unfortunate to get matched up against the Warriors.
And they are still out of the lottery, so a step better than they were pre trade. If they could only stop hamstringing themselves.
But that is the way with the Kings and Clippers.

Not really. I actually think they would give Cleveland hell but winning 2 road games in a win or go home scenario seems unlikely. Yet to happen in the brief history of the play-in game and I don't think a 37 win team going to be the first to start that trend
Teams I was hoping to avoid were Orlando and Miami. Have to think we should win but not like Miami has not won series or at least made them a lot more competitive when not expected.

If the coach does not have his team prepared, you’re Dan right I’m on him

And as far as teachers go, there have been times where some of them have been tough on not just my kid but all, and it warranted a discussion.

You need to move out of Amish town bro
You really are all over the place...bro.

I'd say you need to blame those who should be blamed and not just to suit your agenda.

Amish town?

I hope you’re right. What will the playoffs be like without me complaining about the refs?
You are set up for being happy either way fan...Heat win, happy. Lose and you get your personal I-told-you-so win and those make you happy.

I think Miami wins.....but I guess a Cavs/Hawks reunion type series would be interesting.

Are we talking the Haliburton for Sabonis deal? No one agreed bad deal for the Kings? Really?

I think that you are the only one who has voiced a hatred for the play. I feel that most like it.
Except maybe the ones who are out of touch with modern times.

I'd say you are off base on a couple levels....first, thinking most questioned this for Sacramento. Second, wouldn't exactly call it an abomination for them even knowing what we know. Not like Indiana has had much more success with Haliburton and no reason to be so sure sacto goes much further keeping the little guy over getting the big guy.

I feel like that’s the default take when you simply hear the kings made a trade in general….
To be fair, they are not alone. NOLA, Charolotte, Washington, Atlanta have that same default. Detroit under the old regime as well.

But this isn't one I thought they blew.

If memory serves, a lot of folks were skeptical about it. But since it started, agree that most folks seem to like it. If it accomplishes nothing else, it keeps fans more engaged on more teams, which is good for the league (not to mention the additional revenue that comes from those "extra games".
