Florida should be a big baseball state it seems but both the Marlins and Rays don’t have good attendance, never have. I don’t get it, I mean the Marlins are a very poorly run clown franchise, and Tampa has stadium issues, but it seems like baseball should be a bigger deal here in Florida.
Yeah I know - the Marlins are a joke, probably the worst run franchise in MLB, but the Rays have had several playoff appearances lately but still don’t attract big crowds. I just don’t get that. Florida should be a great baseball state but for some reason never has been.
Pro sports are more likely to fail in Florida than succeed based on demonstrated history of pro sports in Florida.
