Braves take 2 of 3 from the Cards in ATL, Eli White with a 3 run homer that put us ahead in the 8th today and we won 4-1. We have a day off tomorrow and then it’s out west for series against the D-Backs and Rockies

Phil’s swept in that filthy rat trap by the Mets. Bull pen again. Phil’s now 1-5 vs Braves and Mets. No bueno.

Dude is a national treasure. Blessed to have him calling games in Philly.
The dude asking him the question seems like the biggest douche on the planet. I guess he's doing a character or something but he has no perspective.

Braves come back from down 6-2 and lead it 7-6 as we go to the bottom of the 8th in Arizona. Our hitting is pretty great right now, the bullpen needs to hang on to the lead

Phillies still on the struggle bus but broke a 5 game losing streak. Sunday Night Baseball and Nola on the bump. He’s 0-5 in 5 starts and has looked bad.

Phil’s with a much needed series win. The Cubs came in very hot.

Alonso's been off to an insane start. Hitting .333/.451/.646 with a 203 wRC+. Probably won't sustain that, but there's a lot to like that gives optimism for him having a career year. He's always had respectable K% rates, but he's down to just 14.8% so far. He's also walking at the same rate, well above his career norms. His contact% is up to 78.9% and his SwStr% is just 8.9%. He's got a .355 BABIP that is well above his career norms, but he's also hitting the ball harder than he ever has (95.6 EV in 2025; his career high prior to that was 91.0 in 2021). His 20.7% barrel% and 59.8% hardhit% rates are also career highs. His BA is only 5 points above his xBA (.328), and he's actually underperforming his xSLG (.702). I wonder if the colder spring weather have kept some of those doubles from being potential home runs.

Johan Rojas with a solo home run. His first since July of last year. He finally takes a short swing and is quick to the ball. He usually has this long ass wind up just to over swing. He’s a great athlete. He could really be a player if he just accepted coaching. I’m sure they’ve been coaching him to shorten up the swing. He covers a ton of ground in center but also has some shit baseball IQ and instincts. Would be great if he could figure it out.
