At this point, I would say worse than last years defense on paper.

we play a 4-2-5. So, Mikey will be the slot CB and Mcgree won't be on the field. On passing downs, you would think an edge rusher would be in there for Kinlaw. Very possible we get Safety Simmons, if that happens, he starts. We are not done yet. Too early to tell.

We should be better on paper. We had almost 100 million in cap space. The problem is we are not younger, bigger, or faster…let alone all three. And we traded away five or six picks in the next two drafts.

Wagner is a year older. Chinn is gone and Harris is a step down IMO. Allen is no longer here.

Offensively we added Deebo who is an obvious upgrade and Tunsil who is an upgrade but Cosmi is injured. Ertz is another year older.

Sorry but I don’t see much improvement as a team, especially on defense. The saving grace could be the offensive line.

The secondary has improved. LB's the same unless we draft Cambell at #29. Dline If we draft an edge at #29 should be the same or better. As far as offense it's a better Wr Room, Rb;s the same, QB the same. Oline has improved.

Plus Peters is not done yet.
