Is it possible to hire a current DC and add the assistant head coach title and it be considered a promotion?

To my understanding, the answer is no. The only way a coordinator gets a promotion is to HC. However a position coach (like DLine coach) can get a promotion by moving to D-coordinator.

If those are his true demands, it means he knows he is the most-wanted candidate. Hard to blame him for pressing his advantage.
