That sums up the Seahawks forum to a, "T"... Geno could have a great game and some fans in there will focus on that "one" bad pass that should've been picked off...
To be fair, every fan base has those types of fans out there

Top dog ≠ run away favorite... so appears you are already backing off the comment.
I would consider them to be near synonymous with each other. If it didn’t come off that way, let me clarify and say that was my intent. My bad if I chose the wrong words but it should be clear now.

And usually those are the fans that didn't play/coach a lick of competitive football over their life span... Those kind of fans have zero credibility with me...

I’ve never played or coached football, but I still follow it closely and know a lot about it. I strongly disagree that in order to have a knowledge of football you have to have played or coached, there are many die hard fans who’ve never played. And you have biased annoying homer fans who have played/coached.

Not talking about the knowledge part... I 100% agree with you on that... Just the stubborn fans per fan base who will go to their grave before admitting they are wrong about something... If you read/followed the conversation, knowledge wasn't the thing in question...

I mean, plenty who played the game are like that, and plenty who didn't aren't. Being stubborn is a separate thing.

I don't think Cleveland would bring back Flacco either. Unless he totally shits the bed down the stretch (possible)

That just creates a nightmare for Watson if he's his backup.
No decent QB would feel threatened by having a 39-year old Flacco in camp. Flacco is just a short-term emergency QB that no team will want on their active roster for Week 1 of 2024.

in a vacuum I 100 percent agree. Cleveland is not a vacuum. It's a fanbase with very little success to speak of in 3 decades. If Flacco leads them to any kind of success it's not an ideal scenario for Watson to return to if he was still there.

This is not to say any sane person thinks Cleveland should entertain a reality of Flacco beyond this year.

I hear ya. At times it can be infuriating but then I just make a joke and leave it behind. Must be my old age just saying fuck it, I don't care. At any rate, I get lots of shit wrong but it's fun trying to be right, lol.

And this is supposed to be fun, it's literally yakking about sports. Some people take this stuff way too seriously.

as mentioned...I'm offering logic, facts and reason to refute all baseless opinions from anyone who thinks the NFC is better than the AFC or the NFCW is better than the AFCN.

Feel free to provide even one fact to the contrary.

SF could not even run away with the AFCN let alone entire AFC.

What facts you have? Offense Niners beat out all north teams. Rams would be 3 behind San Fran and Baltimore. Defense you have Baltimore Cleveland and Niners then rams next and Pitt and then Seattle. Cincy last. Right now, rams and Niners would be better than any north team with exception of Baltimore.

You don’t understand his rules. Your FG kicker missed a chip shot so now he honestly feels like the Browns are better than the Niners. Buckle up. He’s gonna spam you with replies.

this conversation is even more dumb than which conference is better in CFB. At least in the latter the perception matters. Well until next year when the BIG and SEC have 17 of the top 20

And people still won't be satisfied if the 49ers have Purdy go down in their first game and the Browns beat the Jags again. It won't prove or disprove the argument.
