I guess I can see a little bit of strategy keeping the opponent off guard but the downsides outweighs that imo.

only one position on an NFL team can and even then they have to be a top 5 guy

How about as simple as he's never had an injury like this.....was getting better and better as another week went by. .........Felt good enough to give it a go......maybe wasn't ready yet?

Only thing I could say should have been done differently is before Bmore game stefanski never should have mentioned the medically cleared part (even if true). Just say we all decided it was best he not go as he couldn't get anything on his throws.
