It's not the OLine Skinsdad..it's the......The average time to throw or sack on dropbacks for Sam Howell so far in this game: 2.23 seconds, according to TruMedia. That's insane.
Lol

You were told the o/line was urine since OTAS . We drafted CBS instead of o/lineman , CBS who don’t play much and have been found wanting . 3 of our top 5 lineman are top 10 in pressures allowed . you told me that we should let all pro lineman walk and they could be easily replaced and guess what ? BS has helped the jags to the playoffs and they look to be heading to another birth while our o/line is still looking for a quality OG
much like thinking we could easily replace KC it turns out replacing BS isn’t that easy either . You can’t let talent leave and anyone simply looking at the future cap can figure it out .
but instead we have to go out and get failed toys in FA
I am waiting for the “ chase and sweat can easily be replaced “ chorus to come out soon
and yes we can afford to sign our D/line , that i said we could 3 yrs ago . We have the money as I said we would have .
now it’s a choice not to which is a different debate
No you bring more blockers in though. Maybe even max protect
I didn't think Scherff was worth what he waas asking for. Seen him get blown up too many times and he was hurt every year as well. And just like with KC the Skins fucked up with Scherff tagging him not once, but twice costing them 33 million over 2 years. I advocated trading Scherff and not tagging him at all. Had I known the Skins FO was gonna shove their heads up their asses with BS like they did KC. I would've been down for signing him and added another year @ 16 mill or so to the 2 year 33 mill he got. Putting that in line with what he got from Jacksonville which was a 3 year/49,5 mill deal. What I didn't advocate for at any time was letting what was a pretty decent OL when RR first got here to habitually waste away to whaat it is now. On top of that, 2 drafts have went be by giving the Skins ample opportunity to fill n solidify BS leaving and with those 15 picks in those drafts the Skins drafted a OG in the 7th rd in 2022 and OG in the 4th rd in 2023. And there big FA OL moves consisted of signing Charles on Jan 6th 2023, OG Nolan Laauenberg and OT Aaron Montiero on Jan 9th 2023 and Drew Himmelman on March 10 2023. And far as this year the last OG, Lauenberg or whatever the fuck his name is, they signed was in freakin Sept.To all those who didn’t want to pay BS and thought you could overcome that. You pay for crap you get crap
and we had opportunities in the draft to address this and we drafted cbs , cbs who aren’t playing much at all and have been exposed as wanting
in howell,s defense,it,s hard to do anything behind a pathetic oline.the calls yesterday were awful too.Its shaping up to be the only win for this season. Though, I'm still holding out hope for Howell. If the Skins keep playing as they have though. The entire coaching staff is gonna be replaced n everything including do the Skins have a legit QB. Will be up in the air once again.
You miss the point Dean and continue to point fingers at everyone but Rivera.we did make an offer to BS. I know we have the money now to sign the dline. EB play calling has been a big problem so far, but of course you fail to mention that in your mini rant. Of course, the oline was awful yesterday im not denying that.
You miss the point Dean and continue to point fingers at everyone but Rivera.
Why?
Eb called a bad game...check
The OLine underperformed...check
Who built the OLine Dean...Rivera
Who neglected the OLine in the draft and made poor free agent decisions...rivera
I knew you would be on here going down a list of culprits with Rivera missing.
Question: should Rivera be fired...yes or no? Now..or end of the year...regardless of the next 10 games?
Why did you want EB to have GM duties?
EB probably had input, but it was riveras decision because he is the GM. Same with JDR, he gives input but it is riveras decision at the end of the day.Eb calls the plays. He runs the offense. I think EB had a say in bringing Wylie and Gates here. Im sure RR didnt just do that for he hell of it. You are right about the draft and FA decisions. OF course, RR takes blame for the last 3 and half years.
RR should be fired not now but at the end of the year if we have a losing record. Said this 100 times now. Why do you keep missing this? I said EB will have a role in offensive FA and draft picks that come here. Do you expect me to believe that RR just signed Wyle for the heck of it and EB had nothing to do with it?
execution is the bigger issuewe did make an offer to BS. I know we have the money now to sign the dline. EB play calling has been a big problem so far, but of course you fail to mention that in your mini rant. Of course, the oline was awful yesterday im not denying that.

Eb is not a gm...no matter how bad you wanted him to be. Yes, I believe Rivera and mayhew come up with a list of who they are interested in and then get opinions. I don't believe eb has the authority you think. Mayhew said that both jdr and eb have input on free agents and draft picks. You claimed eb would be the offensive GM and that was incorrect. He has the same input as jdr per mayhew.
I am not missing anything because you don't directly answer the question. You inject ifs into it. Why is there a difference in your mind between 8 wins and 9 wins? What more do you need to see from Mayhew. So if Rivera gets 9 wins...you want him to stay correct? What circumstances should he stay? You never answer that question.
Do you still support rivera..yes or no and why? You continue to dodge the question because I think you want rivera here period correct?
execution is the bigger issue
eb has,nt done a thing to prove he,s head coaching material yet.don,t expect it to happen either.Sounds a lot like us squabbling on the board to me… personally it feels like all 3 and for varying percentages for different games.

The hole season the issue is execution and execution is bad because we stunk up FA. And the draftsure, players are not playing well but EB put Howell in awful situations yesterday. He got outcoached you can't deny that.
EB does call the plays. With the correct personnel, AKA not a shit OL, EB has made some very nice calls and a couple of great play designs. Do I think he has made good adjustments with this OL? No but the second half was a good change.
EB did not create this OL. I understand your opinion that he brought in Wylie but why Gates as well? Is it simply because Gates is here? We had limited dollars to sign OL in FA…let me give you some perspective.
Leno is the 15th highest paid LT. Almost all below him are on rookie deals.
Gates is the 17th highest paid center.
Wylie is the 15th highest paid RT.
Cosmi and Charles are on rookie contracts.
That is not on EB. That is 100% on RR.
The hole season the issue is execution and execution is bad because we stunk up FA. And the draft
At least he is on the field . Our drafts picks this yr really haven’t been on the field and we passed on o/line solutions for dollar general has beenplayers have to perform. Look at Dotson, you cant drop that pass on 4th down for the game. It hit your hands. 1st round pick. But you blame RR b/c he drafted him. Sure, but the 1st round WR has to catch that pass
