Can Akers seems to be the leader at the moment
Can probably get him in trade for a day 3 pick or a depth OL or defensive player.

Not overused at all. Just another unlucky injury for Chubb. You stop players from going high and they have to go low. Now we see RB's getting hurt left and right. No coincidence. This is the 3rd injury for Chubb on his left knee, he was lucky to come back from the first one at UGA. This could be it for him. It sucksOverusing? Chubb had 10 carries at the time of his injury. Barkley had 17 (was injured late).
He played 6 games last season if I remember right and just 2 this season so far. I was thinking the same but he probably needs a full season before we RIP his career.I'm losing any belief in Watson. He has yet to look consistently good IMO, and made some terrible plays last night. Stupid facemask penalties on top of it all.
Watched the XFL but I didn't watch any of the USFL....I did watch it a few seasons back.Looks like the XFL and USFL are merging to make one spring football league.

Yeah, but when you miss as much time as he did with all that was going on? Add into it he is playing with new guys....just saying we might be jumping the gun.....On the other hand, he had 53 regular season starts prior to his suspension. So we're not exactly talking about an inexperienced player.
Some think they will give him to the bye week and if nothing improves they will fire Stefanski (depending on record) and start DTR.He played 6 games last season if I remember right and just 2 this season so far. I was thinking the same but he probably needs a full season before we RIP his career.
2 years out of the league is a long time and I doubt he is mentally there yet. The guy was pretty calm and collected for years and years and now he seems the opposite. I know he isn't there mentally and if he can't get right mentally he will never be a good QB in the league. Not to mention he isn't right on the football field making a ton of mistakes and simple reads. On the other hand, he had 53 regular season starts prior to his suspension. So we're not exactly talking about an inexperienced player.
Damn....with all that guaranteed money to Watson? Some think they will give him to the bye week and if nothing improves they will fire Stefanski (depending on record) and start DTR.
Kinda doubting that bc their bye is week 5 but but if Watson looks like shit with no improvement week to week 8-9 games in then there will be some serious discussions.

They’re moving on already? They guaranteed all of the money? Some think they will give him to the bye week and if nothing improves they will fire Stefanski (depending on record) and start DTR.

Not moving on, that's virtually impossible even if they can find a trade. Rumors that if he doesn't play better halfway through the season then they could look to DTR. In this scenario, they would just sit Watson, fire Stefanski during the season or after the season. Then give Watson another chance with a new head coach. They’re moving on already? They guaranteed all of the money?

The cap hits and future dead cap hits are astronomically even through 2026. If something happens he will be benched. Still too early imo.I doubt it. Fans always love the backup QB...

Unless he gets worse (right now bottom 4 QB) he plays through the season. Stefanski would be on the hot seat and then Watson would get another chance with a head coach.
No chance they move away from Watson until next year at the earliest if they have to. Too much money invested.Unless he gets substantially worse or becomes a problem, is there really upside to move to DTR? He's a decent prospect, but I would think even a underperforming Watson is probably better if you can't move him off the roster.
