Wildcard teams have won the World Series multiple times right?
Sure, but they had to win 8 out of their last 10 to get even this close. A regression to the mean is coming.

Let’s see what else they doSure, but they had to win 8 out of their last 10 to get even this close. A regression to the mean is coming.
while I did laugh at his analogy the idea no one else considered ripping up Watson's deal to pay him a lot more is hardly farfetched. In fact, it's likely it happened. The full 100% guarantee? Not as likely but certainly possible.you said you had no energy and then come up with the best analogy ever
liar
Or maybe sustained winning due to upgrading the roster is coming. Trout is also coming back soon.Sure, but they had to win 8 out of their last 10 to get even this close. A regression to the mean is coming.
I'd bet against them making the playoffs but the fact Trout is coming back and they have made moves to improve certainly gives them at least a realistic shot.Or maybe sustained winning due to upgrading the roster is coming. Trout is also coming back soon.
Doesn’t look good. Non contact injury with no cutting taking place. I think it’s a popped Achilles tendon from having seen them before.Haven't seen details (or confirmed) but heard Burrow may have been carted off the field in practice.
seriously hope the kid's OK.
Yikes....if true that sounds season ending. Or can he come back sooner from popped (as opposed to ruptured)?Doesn’t look good. Non contact injury with no cutting taking place. I think it’s a popped Achilles tendon from having seen them before.
Doctor on Twitter is offering opinion that it might just be a calf strain.Yikes....if true that sounds season ending. Or can he come back sooner from popped (as opposed to ruptured)?
Ok DrDoesn’t look good. Non contact injury with no cutting taking place. I think it’s a popped Achilles tendon from having seen them before.
You ever see somebody pop an Achilles? Pain manifests in the calf region.Ok Dr
Lol im not doubting you docYou ever see somebody pop an Achilles? Pain manifests in the calf region.
The Browns are the only team reported to have offered fully guaranteed. Seems you agree even though not reported someone might have offered more than his previous deal.....so you don't know how high someone was willing to go.
As I said I am certain many were pissed. But the Browns don't care nor should they.
I have my doubts he was offered a fully guaranteed deal by anyone else but would not rule it out and it's not a crazy notion someone did. Hell, we don't even know he was not offered a better deal.....not crazy to think of all those teams he thought the Browns gave him the best chance to win.Kind of. I agree that it's possible that someone offered him more than his previous deal. In fact, I'd say that anyone looking to sign him probably offered more than his previous deal. However, that's not the discussion. I don't believe that anyone else offered him a fully guaranteed deal. I also don't believe that anyone offered him a deal where the guaranteed money was as much or more than what the Browns offered.
We know that no one offered a better deal than the Browns.
I've said since the day the deal was reported that the Browns did what they felt was in the best interest of their team and shouldn't need to apologize for it.
I know that some folks have said (I may have as well, don't remember) that teams won't want to deal with them. But end of the day, if a team is looking to do something and dealing with the Browns is the best way to get it done...they'll deal with the Browns.
when I heard "carted off" I definitely expected it to look worse than it did.Saying it’s a calf strain, I didn’t see a reaction that would signify worst than that
Didn't say it was likely, just what I'm rooting forI'd bet against them making the playoffs but the fact Trout is coming back and they have made moves to improve certainly gives them at least a realistic shot.
