To be fair because of the specific nature of the sport it's the hardest to unionize. Players each matter a lot more in basketball for example, which is why the players basically run that league.
yah....

roster size, star power and average playing career length

basketball would be even stronger if guys didnt spend like drunken sailors and have little savings

MLB is the strongest union

Ok you didn’t make the bet. Just something fun I do some years. We will see. I personally think that passing game is going to be crazy this season.
Yeah i don't see the need for all the criticism. Herbert played 1 playoffs game and lets assume he won't ever win a big game lol holy shit what a ridiculous take

I mean he has played 2 years lol. Just watch that offense with Kellen Moore. I know some are blaming Moore for Daks problems but the Cowboys are a broken record at this point.

The next big win Herbert earns will be his first. He’s the poster child for how you can get propped up beating the teams you should and then losing to every good team you play.

I don’t think it is fair to say Herbert can’t win playoff games. He is still very young.

But I would never bet on him getting through the AFC.

Beating Burrow and Mahomes in the playoffs is something all together different.

Yup, that’s why it’s 25-1.

The man played 1 playoffs game. It was flat out a dumb comment.

This isn't a guy who is 0-4 in the playoffs or something

2 YEARS AND HE HASN'T WON A SUPER BOWL YET!!!!!!

Cut the loser.
1. He lost all those types of games at Oregon
2. Over the last two years, after the Chargers were anointed because of Herbert’s rookie year the Chargers are 6-11 vs playoff teams. Last year that was 1-6 with the only win coming vs Tua-less Miami

The next big game Herbert wins will be his first.

I didn’t limit it to playoff game. I said “big game” so that I could cite how poorly he’s done against playoff teams he’s faced and it allows me to go back and point out how he often lost those games at Oregon.

He’s played a ton of football games. At Oregon, he had a cake walk to the playoffs playing in the worst power 5 conference and he shit the bed in every big game he played at Oregon.

The Giants let him save a little face with a deal one million more than the tag value.

Which potential outcome for this season is more problematic?

Barkley has a great season and outperforms that contract and gets tagged again

or

Barkley misses a chunk of the season due to injury and get's lowballed in next year's free agency market

Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bills sign Andre Roberts back for return duties. Harty could help on kickoffs too.

RB depth is a little more interesting. Neither of the backups (Harris, Murray) is a receiving threat. Maybe they try McKissic again (backed out of a Bills deal to go to the Commanders a year ago).

Bills quickly signed Darrynton Evans instead of McKissic.

Look closer and you will see that is most definitely an Oregon thing.

Seems like he’s over a barrel either way. Can’t beat the House.

I don’t know much about him. Where did he play his college ball? Can he catch? That’s what the Bills lost with Hines going down.

Mariota had them in the playoffs. They also played in a national title game vs Auburn.
