No More "Bullpen Failure" - maybe
That is what I was thinking after we drafted him.
I could see it depends on what we do on the trade front and offseason

That might depend on how well he likes it in the bullpen. I certainly don't want him in the rotation for 2024. He may not exercise that option in order to go and start somewhere else instead of pitching out of the pen here.Plus Heaney has a Player option at $13M for 2024 which he won’t walk away from
I don’t either but would they pay that much for nothing but a long relieverThat might depend on how well he likes it in the bullpen. I certainly don't want him in the rotation for 2024. He may not exercise that option in order to go and start somewhere else instead of pitching out of the pen here.
If they want to win more games they will.I don’t either but would they pay that much for nothing but a long reliever
I would think even fast tracking him would mean toward the end of next year at the earliest.I could see it depends on what we do on the trade front and offseason
If they’re the only options then Bradford. But like said earlier it’s way too early to discussing 2024 too many possible variables. Hell they might trade Bradford in the right dealIf it came down to the two of them, based on what we have seen so far, I would definitely put Bradford in the 2024 rotation over Heaney.
Yeah, its early, but we are on a long break with not much else to do.If they’re the only options then Bradford. But like said earlier it’s way too early to discussing 2024 too many possible variables. Hell they might trade Bradford in the right deal
Agreed. I’m spending it figuring what I’d do between now and the deadline. That’s why I brought up Stroman and Alzolay. I figured Winn and Acosta for Stroman and then thought Hernandez and Antoine Kelly for Alzolay. And the 2 together made pure sense to me.Yeah, its early, but we are on a long break with not much else to do.
Hope so especially Semien maybe he’ll get back on trackHoping our guys make a good showing in the ASG
