As good as any list could be. Still good with Staubach & Aikman.

Ida put Starr on the list too.
Why not? Starr was just a Winner.

Elway and bradshaw no
I agree. And I really like Terry Bradshaw but he shouldn't be on the list. And Favre above
Marino is laughable to me. Actually, Favre would be #3 on my Packer list even though I despise AR. Mahomes should already be on that list, probably top 5. I would also have Staubach on there before Elway and Bradshaw.

I guess I'll try to attack each of these placements and lets see what I got...

2. Joe Montana. Tied for 13th in total QB wins. Will be 14th shortly when Russell Wilson passes him.
3. Johnny Unitas. 12th in total QB wins. 15th in win percentage. Will also get passed up by Wilson.
4. Peyton Manning. Both rings had stacked defenses in the playoffs.
5. Brett Favre. .624 win percentage isnt super high,. 7.1 YPA, 336 Ints, only 13-11 in the playoffs.
6. Dan Marino. 8-10 in the playoffs, 6.6 YPA in the playoffs, 3.5% INT in the playoffs.
7. John Elway. Sacked 516 times and 226 Ints in 234 games.
8. Aaron Rodgers. Sacked 54 times in 21 playoff starts.
9. Terry Bradshaw. Threw for 166 Yards a game.
10. Drew Brees. Only 1 first team all-pro.

I would like to see Roger Staubach at least get some kind of honorable mention. The man had a great career, which if I recall included the nickname 'Capt Comeback'. You don't get that nick by just playing ok in crunch time.

PLUS 1

to be fair...Rodger would have problems with regards to today's NFL clock management.

Staubach is 3rd on my list. Perhaps I'm bias. :clap2:

11 Roger Stauback - only gentleman QB (belongs further up this list)

I'd have him in the top 10, as well. I think there are probably 3 QBs that dont quite have the body of work to be 'top 10' but I think actually are top 10 QBs: Staubach, Mahomes, and Steve Young.

No Mahomes? Terry Bradshaw!? ChatGPT doesn't know ball.
ChatGPT just filters all the info that is out there in the Web/Cloud and sends back reasonable results based on your query, which need to be curated to be truly accurate.

My guess is that there are not enough mentions of Mahomes as “GOAT” in the Web because the other guys were around for many more years. Bradshaw, meh, that was a great Steelers team in those Steel Curtain days … his stats aren’t that great.

Also, it is hard to classify GOATs in the middle of their careers as opposed to guys who already put in a full body of work, and are retired (except for Rodgers on that list).
