Apparently, Damar Hamlin has improved enough that he is communicating by writing notes and his first question was "Did we win?". Doctors have apparently said that "The lights are on and he's home."

He's not out of the woods yet and is still intubated. But all signs are positive at the moment.
Yeah, his docs told "yeah, you won the game of life". So I agree that's positive news. Hoping he pulls through...

Browns send Jadeveon Clowney home after critical comments

He criticized the team and coaching staff.

He told cleveland.com he didn't feel appreciated and is "95% sure" he won't return for a 3rd season.

I think Clowney gets injured too much and should focus on that for next year.

Sounding more and more like it will be a neutral site for the championship game in the AFC. I’m thinking a game in Alaska would be cool.

Not doubt he has an injury history. Only one time during his 9 year career has he played ever game in a season. That's not good.

A good neutral site would be England.

It's not just the fact he played 12 out of 17 games. It's that he was limited in practice for virtually every game and missed more than half the snaps in like 3 or 4 other games.

He had a sack and a half in the first 2 games and then half a sack from there.

same as you said - bye-bye. But I would not release him. He can just go home. He's a D. I'd say assuming the FO and HC returns to them it's 100% he wont be back.

2 sacks as a DE with Myles on the other side drawing double teams constantly is kind of pitiful.

Not being close to home wasn't aware of his practice limitations and the snaps he actually played.

Unless it's a bargain probably better to let him walk.

I'd say it's that he probably just doesn't like football.

I think there is some truth to that. His freakish athletic ability in HS hasn't ever quite translated like one would think.

Now he is someone who might be milking injuries to either not play and/or practice. Likely also a reason he signs 1-year deals late every offseason.
