I don't either in regards to Marco UNLESS he got his feelings hurt and demands a trade for not being on the playoff roster. Doubt that happened though.

No clue wit Winker. Dipoto says injuries zapped his power and Servais says he was down from struggling. I say he looked shitty. No bad luck. No year long injury. Just shitty.

I think Reynolds is more expensive than you think. 27 with 3 years of control playing Top 20 OF ball on a bad team with little protection. I agree I always prefer signing ver trading, but you have less control over signing as our history has shown us. I still like Nimmo though I was pretty surprised to see he only had 3 steals on the year. I think Judge is a 1% chance and that is probably being optimistic. His playoff run has me concerned.

A Mets combo of Nimmo (FA) and McNeil (Trade) wouldn't hurt my feelings at all. Then add that stud SS and I could sleep a lot better next year.

I know with Reynolds and that is why I am saying it is my opinion. Just got a bad feeling about him. Good call on the contract, I had no idea on that and makes it more attractive at first take.

I was just reading Corey Brock's mailbag and he proposed this trade, curious what you guys think:

Pirates receive:
- Jesse Winker
- Chris Flexen
- Emerson Hancock

Mariners receive:
- Bryan Reynolds
- Ji Hwan Bae

I don't know much about Bae, but I'd do this in a heartbeat as I love Reynolds and it seems as if Bae has some potential.

Yea this would be almost a no brainer for me. Reynolds I believe is under control three more years. Flexen and Winker mean next to nothing for me so they can go in any deal. This also gives you the option to move Julio to the corner OF as well. Hancock I believe gets moved in a deal in the next 12 months.

Is Reynolds a CF? And is he better than Julio? Per BB Reference, Reynolds had a negative dWAR the last two years, and worse this than last. Julio's was slightly positive. I know that (dWAR) is a pretty subjective metric, but Julio has looked like a good CF, to me.

I am not questioning your assessment on his potential regression. I was just mentioning his trade worth is way more than that proposed trade. They want a ton and they should. Is he worth more to us? Not sure, but I have no issue dealing any and all the names mentioned by any of us. Of course I will beat my dead horse dream of getting Garcia from Texas...lol.
