Freaking out? It is what it is, the roster is shit and not built to be a good shooting team long-term. You can't change the players and their abilities
Unrealistic trade expectations, inept front office and Davis grabbing a body part every trip down the floor.

No bueno.

Hey, what’s all the talk about Westbrook dancing when he was supposedly injured? I saw a video of this Laker fan losing his shit saying he was crip walking into the building….lol

I haven’t seen any video to confirm this though.

What would you rather see happen? If they trade those two # 1's away how long before they'd have another first rounder?

I couldn't watch the video. Screamin' A. gives me a headache.

The only 1st round pick the Lakers owe currently is 2024, which the Pels can postpone to 2025 if they wish. Pels can swap picks with the Lakers in 2023.

That's even more troubling because they still beat you pretty handedly.

But, does this one work better?

Lakers were leading at the beginning of the 3rd quarter (after Brown's 3s), but had a dry spell in the 3rd that more or less sealed the deal. Short run in the 4th eventually fell apart. AD was noticeably slowed in the 2nd half as his back tightened up. He did play through it though, so I have to give him credit.

The first two tradeable first rounds picks the Lakers have are in '27 and '29 which are the ones that are constantly being brought up

Yes both team shot poorly from downtown last night. But their team 3 point percentages are far apart.

Nuggets- 38.4

Lakers- 22.3

Last night they were only a few tenths apart. Lakers 26.7%, Nuggs 26.5%. VICTORY! lol

One big reason I don't see trading Lebron or Davis happening is the TV contract.

Gotta give fans a reason to watch.

LeBron breaking Kareem's record does that.

Time Warner Cable bought the regional TV rights to Lakers games last year for an estimated $3 billion over 20 years, in a deal that also included games of pro soccer's LA Galaxy and the WNBA's Los Angeles Sparks. It must sign deals with other TV distributors to help offset costs.

The return for trading either doesn't make trading them worth it.

Didn’t you have to make a run in the 2nd too?

Look, all bullshit aside…

Was there any point in this game where you actually believed you were going to win?

Im not trolling.

But, I did not.

Lebron was lethargic, Nunn has been absolute GARBAGE, AD was laboring, Bev is mostly invisible.

Lonnie is the lone bright spot and he had 15 points on 14 shots because he can’t make 3’s.

Lakers team could VERY VERY easily be something like this if Pelinka and LeBron were not fools:

Hield, DeRozan, LeBron, Davis, Caruso as a core. Plus still have the 2 picks they still have- plus still have a mid level.

-sign DeRozan
-do the Kuzma/KCP trade they did for RW for Hield. Coudl probably have gotten something else in that deal too.
-re-signed Caruso.

That would at least be a team that could do some things.

All they had to do was basically spend some money and not trade for RW.

Oh…..

It’s not that bad.

But, yeah…..

Starting to believe he’s not very injured.

This video speaks to why Russ is not a team player. Completely oblivious to situations around him.

However, Laker fans at least should give Russ a pass here. We all know he could have played last night. Russ being out is GOOD for the Lakers.

So really not fair to criticize him over not playing.

LeBron, Davis, DeRozan, Hield and Caruso is not a bad first 5 to build around.

They would not be worried about cap space either so they could make a deal or two--- bring in Turner.

but- LeBron and Pelinka had to have RW.

That trade literally crushed LeBron's last few great years.

Yup. And it's going to bite them in the ass.

They should have pulled the trigger for Buddy and Turner for Russ and two firsts.

Now Russ' stock is dropping FAST

Russ never had any stock. His selling point is clearing cap space and whatever picks are attached to him.
