You know 4 yrs ago I told this board I would run KC shit into the ground and wouldn’t stop doing so
so all the butt hurt catch phrases won’t stop me
see when I say something, I stick with it
my principals don’t change at the drop of a hat
I get that .... I get how we listened to people about Cousins and they were wrong all along. Just look back at the team since he has been gone and how many guys they have tried to replace him with.Wentz is 1st in the league in TD passes, 2nd in yards, and 10th in passer rating. Yes, it was the Jags and Lions, but the defense is giving up 30 a game.
Quibbling over Wentz holding on to the ball, a pass or two sailing, seems a little harsh at the moment, especially when you juxtapose what is going on in Indianapolis.
Sure the bottom could fall out and Wentz could revert back to the guy that makes bonehead plays and divides the locker room.
Until that happens let's just enjoy what we have. Be patient, we still have 15 weeks to destroy Carson Wentz.
KC looks focused this year. That's a very good roster he has. KC is probably a little better than Wentz. Cooley was on Sheehan's podcast and said.he got into an argument with Bruce Allen when he heard what they were going to offer KC.I get that .... For my money Wentz is a little less than Cousins but not a lot less. My guess is he is a top 12 guy or close to that. I know they are paying him a lot of money but right now it looks like a bargain based on all these new QB contracts. Baltimore can't decide what to do with Lamar while today he threw for over 300 yards and rushed for over 100 yards.
For this game he helped bring the team back to within one score twice. Sadly the D, Slye and RR killed any chances of them coming all the way back.
Anyhow, I like the offense and we are going to need them to be successful to keep the Washington defense off the field.
I was replying more to dad's comment. I understand his point about KC back in the day and what others said.KC looks focused this year. That's a very good roster he has. He told Bruce he was 28m short. He said Bruce laughed at him and told him to worry about his radio show.
I'm really not sure what KC has to do with Wentz though. I get the whole KC vs RG3 thing. They were draft mates, but that was two coaching staffs ago and about four or five QBs ago.
If anything drafting Haskins had more to do with letting KC walk than trading for Wentz. Damn Tua looked good today. Lol
I didn't see the game, just got home in fact. Did Wince make any big time throws today? We all know he's capable of making them, that's not the issue. Lots of QBs can make big time throws every now n then, but if they have accuracy issues or hold the too long (which Wentz seems prone to do) The big time throws seem to happen more than than now.
Give me an accurate, moderate arm QB over a big arm, inaccurate QB all day long.
It does matter. Reasoning like that is what leads to issues like having no depth.
Who was covering him ? a LB ? nuff saidNot to beat a dead horse but that Swift TD was a huge turning point in the game. We hold them to a FG we are down by 10. We scored the next drive would have cut the lead to 3 points with 10mins left in thegame.

Can't play the "if" game. The "if" game is for losers. Any team, any week could play "if."
Winning teams don't worry about shoulda / coulda / woulda. They just do.
