Again, nice try.
Miami you mean?Shaq was a dominant force in the league for many years. But by the time he got to Phoenix wasn't as unstoppable. Some of his numbers those two years.
2005- 22.9 ppg &10.4 rebs (did lead the league in FG% that season)
2006- 20.0 ppg & 9.2 rebs (led the league in FG% again)
Mitchell is a All-Star caliber player.
How bad is the Gallo injury? Don't remember any followup on that. The Eastern Conference keeps getting better.
Gonna be a dog fight... for second place. Celtics are winning the East going away.![]()
Honestly, I have to think he's better but never thought it was by that much. I mean, I'll trust this FO until they give us a reason not to, though. Friend just made a comment to me I thought was spot on......Seriously. Is Mitchell THAT much better than Sexton by himself???
Wtf lol
Mitchell is a All-Star caliber player.
He's better than Sexton, who you were gonna lose in a year if you didn't overpay him.
I don't need half a second to think about which guy I'd rather have on a max deal.
We have no idea what the rookie would have given you.
No, it doesn't make you a top contender in the East ......YET.
But, if Mobley, Allen, Garland continue to take steps, we might be singing a different tune in a year or two.
Some people act like you have a roster full of 35 year olds.
The Clippers have to win now.
The Clips, Suns, Bucks, Celtics, Nets are win or bust.
The Cavs are not.
You guys are the Eastern Conference Grizz.
Good news on that front... wasn't a torn ACL, injury time table looks like 2-3 months... he should be back to full health well before the AS break. How bad is the Gallo injury? Don't remember any followup on that.
Was it as bad as originally thought?
one of 2 reasons...either they didn't want him or Cavs refused to include him as they think he'll eventually be our starting 3.Why not include Okoro instead of the rookie? 3 1st's is a lot + 2 swaps. I didn't in my right mind thing they would ever do this
I mean, IF the deal works out as they hope we are talking about losing late first rounders. No doubt we still need a shooter or 2 (or 3).I like DM but now they don't have future picks, a starting 3 and I really liked that rookie, he had a shot to spread the floor. Maybe there is more coming back to CLE?
I bet Okoro is starting at SF.one of 2 reasons...either they didn't want him or Cavs refused to include him as they think he'll eventually be our starting 3.
JTA, Bryant and Jones signings...So they signed some irrelevant rookies to make the team younger? The Core is still old as dirt...
Assuming you meant he's inefficient?Honestly, I've never been a fan of Mitchell. He's a volume player but terribly efficient.
He can be a crunch time guy so that's good. But they best lock him up for a long time. Cause that cupboard is gonna be empty for a long while.
