and for a big, Mobley could become a Green type at handling the ball if need be?Well they have 4 guys that can handle the ball: Garland, Mitchell, LeVert and Rubio

I was more referencing how you guys had THT in packages like he had significant value. It's not just Lakers fans who do this of course.Lakers rumors: Russell Westbrook, LeBron James, Patrick Beverley, Carmelo Anthony, Austin Reaves
HoopsHype’s Michael Scotto and Lakers beat writer Jovan Buha share the latest updates on trade talks surrounding Russell Westbrook. Plus, what LeBron James’ extension means long-term for the Lakers…hoopshype.com
"Buha: As far as Westbrook’s trade market, I’ve heard Indiana and Utah are the two most likely destinations. I think Utah is, from what I’ve been told, more likely than Indiana. There are several permutations there with Indiana where it could be Myles Turner and Buddy Hield together or one of the two."
The holdup is the Lakers not wanting to include the 2nd 1st rounder.
For sure another move could be made as we need more shooters and maybe more size, too. Love going down would be a disaster. They may have another move in mind? Maybe LeVert and Okoro for a SF?
He's really good at trades it seems.Ainge did pretty good in trading Mitchell and Gobert.
Boston actually improved a team that went to the Finals.Only area I disagree is if you really think this makes us better why not finish ahead of Boston, Bucks, etc? Sure looked like they were headed that way last year before all the injuries. Not all of them, but could have been a 2 or 3 seed.
Now whether it does make us better is another story.
He might be thinking of Cleveland fans who are so negative about our teams. There are still a number of fans in forums who rip Altman.Your friend kind of has it reversed. More often fans overvalue theirs and undervalue the other teams' guys. Look at the trade scenarios Lakers fans like to suggest, for example.
I remember somebody saying Banchero going 1st.....Some of them don't.
I'm one of the folks who puts a lot of stock in the things Shams and Woj say.
Usually, they know their shit.
But, even those guys missed on this trade and Banchero going #1 overall.
Could be that the Jazz re engaged with the Cavs after the Knicks extended Barrett.
But, I also think both of our organizations have gotten a lot better at keeping stuff in-house.
Probably not.Did Mitchell pinky promise to try on Defense again? because he has not tried any of that in years.

I think those could be the core 5 for a while (Allen, Mobley, Okoro, Garland and Mitchell). There is room to make other deals. Love and Levert are tradeable assets. Not sure what this does to the cap space after next season. Guessing means we have little other than maybe the MLE?Yeah I meant inefficient.
The team you have now is the team you are going to have for a while.
Boston actually improved a team that went to the Finals.
Bucks have the best player in the NBA.
So, while I do believe you got better, not enough to pass those guys nor Philly...who also improved.
Or Miami or a healthy BK team if they keep KD and Irving.Boston actually improved a team that went to the Finals.

Yeah...he played 11 games and the Cavs got off to a strong start with him......against an incredibly tough schedule. What are you talking about? lmao. Sexton only played 11 games last year lol
Sexton is always injured (hasn't played a full season in 3 years) and is coming off a torn meniscus. Also, they had to give up more because Mitchell is considered the better player for a reason. Add in that he has playoff experience, and there is a reason the Knicks and the Heat wanted him badly.
We also weren't going to keep Sexton anyways once Garland came out as the much better player imo
Indy really wanted him and clearly.....the Jazz did since they traded for him.I was more referencing how you guys had THT in packages like he had significant value. It's not just Lakers fans who do this of course.
Now that Utah is 'out' (after the Mitchell trade, right?) maybe you guys have a shot at getting this done with 1 first but I doubt it.

Maybe not even past the Raps or Bulls if they are healthy.
