He had to nominate the both of them. If he nom’d Joe and Kyle, and Turner won veto, he takes Joe down and the whole plan falls apart. As it stands now, with Joe and Turner on the block, there is absolutely no chance it falls apart unless stupidity shows up.

i understand that... but even with that, i still think it would have been smart to do Joseph and Kyle... by putting in Turner after guaranteeing him safety and putting in Joseph, he told them that he now knows about the alliance... He drew the line way too early... and Turner still would have had to beat out both Kyle and Joseph in the veto competition... all would have had to play hard for the veto... But yea, you are right that turner winning in my scenario would mess everything up, and this is safe... but it will be an unpleasant week for everyone, and put even a bigger target on Terrance after this...

think about it this way... if he put up kyle and joseph, he could have had the PERFECT week...

He would have protected Alyssa, which is most important...

Kyle would not have to show his cards

Alyssa and Terrance could have still played dumb of the alliance

which would be even better if the newly formed Terrance/Alyssa/Kyle can bring in Michael and brittany to finally get out monte...

Pretty Wild that Terrance is guaranteed top 8.

He still has no chance to win, but right when I saw the cast ep 1 I really thought he had no chance at even top 13.

Would be dumb of him not to want to protect Kyle... he will be numbers for him, and the easy link with Michael and Brittany...

it definitely is tricky... just like everything... really all depends on who is the HOH next week... if it is one of the leftovers, it is going to be very difficult for Kyle, Terrance and alyssa...

Kyle really needs to win HOH next week that is the only way Terrance will be safe for an extended period of time...

Just watched last night’s ep. IMHO, one of the greatest nom ceremonies in the history of the show. The noms had no idea it was coming and were completely blindsided. I don’t remember a nom ceremony where BOTH noms were smacked upside the head like that.

But seriously. The house is supposedly split 6-2. Did you REALLY think everyone was just going to sit pretty and not have a blowup plan? You had contingency plans, you might want to realize that other people have contingencies as well.

i do agree. but i am getting tired of how Turner Kyle and Monte are such babies... i guess especially monte... he has been in every alliance this season... but doesnt mind killing any as long he is on top of them, and if any mini alliance is made in his alliance then that alliance is done, even though he has mini alliances in all his alliances....

for example, the pound, even though losing Joseph, now is 3 strong and they threw out the rest of the leftovers entirely because the rest of the leftovers knew they were on the bottom of the alliance...

i guess it is good for the pound... but such a lame alliance IMO....

Putting together an alliance based on race and actually acting on it throughout the season, while evicting people based solely on race is honorable, beautiful, encouraging, impressive, inspiring, …

but…

Acknowledging that the above happened and making sure to be aware that it might happen again, while not actually acting on it in any way is disturbing, racist, and something that no one wants to have anything to do with.

I do see the difference... but I do feel bad for Kyle here... It is clear his intent was not racist... it was more paranoia than anything else... would have been nice if Michael and Brittany said something supporting Kyle and not totally throwing him under the bus, because this is real life too...

The difference is that one actually happened and the other was just making sure to be prepared if something were to happen.

I don't want to get all political because I know we had different views on the cookout... just talking about this situation... the sad thing to me is that Brittany and Michael are basically calling Kyle a racist... that is not necessary... He said something in paranoia, because this show makes people paranoid... and he was really only saying WORSE CASE SCENARIO, we need to be ready and be able to defend it... So even though Brittany and Michael told the truth, they didn't take real life into account, and try to defend his actions...

They weaponized a serious issue in this country for the benefit of their game. It's pretty disgusting.

Looks like this is the new norm for these kinds of shows. Survivor had similar issues this past season. These shows have always been a guilty pleasure of mine. I can't deal with this crap though.

i dont mind calling a racist a racist... but this one seems a little overblown... and now will be by the players...
