Not a big fan of #1, really like #2, not sure about #3.saw a series of trade deadline trades:
1) Rangers trade Martin Perez LHP and Ezequiel Duran to the St Louis Cardinals for Alec Burleson OF & Ryan Helsley RHP
2) Rangers trade Martin Peres, Matt Moore & Charlie Culberson to the Atlanta Braves for Kyle Muller LHP
3) Rangers trade Kole Calhoun, Matt Moore & Trevor Hauver to the Boston Red Sox for Jarren Duran OF
You got it!Kind of wonder number one on hot seat ChiSox La aRussa?
Maybe it's more of a question of why not? First, he didn't cost the price of a good taco. Second, this team LOVES doing this type of move.![]()
Rangers Sign Dallas Keuchel To Minor League Deal
The Rangers have signed Dallas Keuchel to a minor league contract, per a team announcement. The 2015 AL Cy Young winner …www.mlbtraderumors.com
Why?
The word 'worth' is right up there with value in today's world IMO. And I don't have any idea what either of them mean.No one is worth that. Too many unforseen things floating out there.
Always nice to have you stop by.The word 'worth' is right up there with value in today's world IMO. And I don't have any idea what either of them mean.
Signing him is basically a low cost flyer with the hopes that he could have a late-career resurgence like Lynn, Minor, Gibson, and now, Perez and (as a reliever) Moore.Maybe it's more of a question of why not? First, he didn't cost the price of a good taco. Second, this team LOVES doing this type of move.
I appreciate the thought DT! Very much!......And, can you tell me what our record is in one run games this year? I'm thinking it's like 5-24/25. Am I close?Always nice to have you stop by.
Close. 5-22 to dateI appreciate the thought DT! Very much!......And, can you tell me what our record is in one run games this year? I'm thinking it's like 5-24/25. Am I close?
Thanks.....I wish I wasn't this close.Close. 5-22 to date
Just guessing but this kind of thing should be getting someone's attention.Thanks.....I wish I wasn't this close.
I wonder what is the worst record in 1 run games in a season by a team.I appreciate the thought DT! Very much!......And, can you tell me what our record is in one run games this year? I'm thinking it's like 5-24/25. Am I
May be us if we don't turn things around. Last night game did not need be lost. Poor decisions and execution.I wonder what is the worst record in 1 run games in a season by a team.
One would/should think...........But let me ask you something. Wasn't it a few years ago we had some ridicilously terrific record in one run games? Like 21 and 7 or some such?....My memory fails me here.Just guessing but this kind of thing should be getting someone's attention.
I believe we were 0-10 with RISP!May be us if we don't turn things around. Last night game did not need be lost. Poor decisions and execution.
No downside, unless he comes up and starts ahead of Hearn, or Otto, Ragans. We don't need a Culberson on the mound too.Signing him is basically a low cost flyer with the hopes that he could have a late-career resurgence like Lynn, Minor, Gibson, and now, Perez and (as a reliever) Moore.
Not much of a downside, IMO.
Failure to take advantage with RISP has been a tremendous problem all season thus far.I believe we were 0-10 with RISP!
