Not sure if they're putting Duran in CF because you can't really take plays off like you can in LF, sort of a crash course in playing the OF maybe?

I think they actually want to get Duggar ABs but it just doesn't make sense at the ML level unless its done at the expense of Calhoun

i understand the thinking but if we sent him down to AAA i would them be concerned that he would be taking ABs there from Duran. here he sits gets the occasional start in LF or when Adolis or Kole needs a break

Actualy here he's mostly taking ABs away from Tavares

I've already addressed who they should start in AAA, and it seems they're pretty committed to Duran playing everyday, even at the expense of a superior defensive option in CF

you got me wrong. 5 or 6 starts a week the outfield should be Kole, Taveras & Adolis with Duggar and/or Miller getting maybe 1 start a week to give a day off to one of them at a time with Kole covering RF for Adolis to get a day

If he was indeed working on his pitches without worrying about results, he should become the poster boy for the organization to encourage others to trust the process.

Or maybe he struggled that much for an unknown reason. In that case, never mind. Lol
