If Ryan is in the deal, there shouldn't be that much cap to clear? Or will this be a 3 way trade?
Nah, just IMO.....the Texans will get a buncha picks and Ryan who has 1 year left on his deal I believe.

Ryan will give them a better QB than last season so they can try to "compete."

Not so sure Ryan will be happy with that outcome, could make for an uncomfortable situation.

I don't think Ryan would be happy in Houston but I don't think he has a say.

He needs to be more concerned about losing his job to a younger, more talented QB. He doesn’t have that problem in Atlanta, but in Houston, it’s very likely he’d just end up Davis Mills’ backup.

Being a clip board holder may seem ideal while collecting 48 million in 2022 and 43 million in 2023. Sign me up for that ! I can hold a clip board just fine.

It's what ET had to say about RW.

Watson looking for that homestyle cooking in GA or LA. Can't blame him. LA food far superior to the PNW Geoduck and Salmon.

Georgia give or take it. I think I'd take the PNW cuisine on this one. Not a peach fan.
Get your "facts" straight. Earl Thomas never said that. Percy Harvin did.

Percy Harvin is a horrible piece of shit that everyone hated everywhere he played. Since Harvin actively tried to destroy the Seahawks' locker room with his crap spewing, I would think he would be a hero of yours.

I could see NWPF and Harvin having a great time together, sitting around bitching about Seattle. You two are made for each other that way.

Ryan does have a NTC BTW. Not sure why theres conflicting reports on that

Hes headed to Indy apparently if Watson picks ATL

Unless someone Ryan would also accept makes a better offer

Dude can still play. He threw for alnpst 4k and 20 TDs last year withba swiss cheese OL, a special teamer as his RB and grocery baggers as his WR corp

Put him on a good roster and he will be just fine

SF would be holding a Lombardu right now if Ryan was their QB last yead and not Jimmy G ( for example )

A ST as his RB? Patterson has always been able to run and catch the ball....that's his true calling but he's always been on better teams where they didn't need him to run and catch the ball.

Russell Gage is a grocery bagger? Not. He's not great, but he's a solid receiver.

Notice how you didn't say shit about him having Pitts.

Yes CP is a special teamer. You said it yourself " on better teams they didnt need him" and Gage is a WR3 or WR4

He will be lucky to see the field in TB honestly and he was our WR1

You cant honestly be arguing ATL had good offensive weapons lol

Ryan's talent is not an issue, imo. He is still a good QB but the problem is that he is a statue back there. Without a top Oline, it really limits what can be done with him. And he is getting older. Fwiw, I highly doubt Watson ends up in Atl despite reports. I think it's the Saints. Just makes more sense because of a better chance of winning. The Falcons are just the NFC version of the 2020 Texans that made him pissy in the first place. Granted, the ownership is better.

Outside of Pitts, Ryan didn't have a lot to work with. Gage is a solid #2 receiver, nothing more--and in Tampa, he'll be the #3 WR after Godwin comes back. Patterson shouldn't be any team's best RB. All considering, Ryan did pretty well for what he was given.

Then why would Houston take him back in trade, or not move him on to a different team? Ryan is still a viable starting QB.

Mayfield in Cleveland. Ryan in Atlanta.

Deshaun Watson ruined more quarterbacks than Jeff Fisher.

Funny, but as much as I have grown to hate Fisher, I don't think he ruined any QBs. Bradford just wasn't that good. Fisher certainly didn't ruin McNair...

Yeah, but if you’re the Texans, do you want to start a young QB that will only get better or an old QB that will only get worse. Ryan may be a viable starter still, but that would need to be with a team that doesn’t already have a young starter in place.

Like Indy, Cleveland if they deal Baker, Carolina, etc.

I would say he didnt get much out of Goff or Foles while he had them. Not that either is a reliable franchise QB but Fisher isnt the type of guy that can make QBs look better than they are.
