Hard cap and hard ceiling and revenue sharing is only idea to secure equity and even playing field per former MLB best guy

Revenue sharing is simply propping up franchises that should not be in existence or at least shouldn't exist in their current location.

A hard cap is not needed.

If the players are mostly concerned with the younger guys, the league should offer to give them what they want in bonus for pre-arb guys, and meet them well past half way on a new minimum salary, in exchange for only a slight increase in the CBT threshold. That would give the players what they say they are looking for, for the young players. If they refused it would expose them as not being honest about mainly looking out for the young guys.
