If you were in charge of the MLBPA would you accept my proposal?

No I like all of what you suggest minus more of an increase in the CBT with money set aside for older vets who have no pension and money set aside for MILB players

A smaller increase in the CBT does not even account for inflation. I am not against some revenue sharing but I do think a floor on salary and a harder cap will make teams more competitive as opposed to only major markets have the advantage. I think shrinkage of teams in the league is bad for baseball. I am it against expanding playoffs and playing less than 162.
Our stats are a mess anyways with all the uproar over steroids and the differences in baseballs over the years

There is a tremendous amount of room for expanding salaries outside of those few teams that are up against or above the threshold. Look at what the Rangers have done in increasing the salary without even being close to the threshold.

The significant increase in minimum salary will force the lower rung teams to spend more.

The bonuses for the pre-arb players helps a little as well.

There are some who think he may be every bit as good as Leiter.

The bottom rung of the league needs to be radically revamped. That alone would increase spending on players significantly. The lower rung is a dead weight.
