Look, don't think the guy is an MVP player because of his play on the field? Fine. Don't vote for him. No big deal.

Don't vote for the guy because of a personal issue you have, disagreement, or other non-football related problems - you probably shouldn't be voting.
If Burrow leads the Bengals to the AFC Championship game or even a Superbowl, he should get this nod considering everyone had us down for 5 to 6 wins on the season. He has been playing behind one of the worst lines in football and coming back from major surgery. Would that not propel him into the conversation? Has a player every been voted NFL MVP and not made the pro-bowl? haha

So I have a couple of questions regarding voting for awards, all pro and HOF. Who has the say in who gets a vote? And having that say, when are they going to strip these idiots of their privilege when they blatantly and publicly show that their bias outweighs their ability to vote on merit? The reason I ask is that Chicago Bears fan and writer Hub Arkush has said he won't vote for Rodgers simply because "he's the biggest jerk in the league". Not that I disagree with his view on A.R. I think the guy is a deuchebag too but on the football field, I can't deny that he is the unanimous MVP. Just pondering this nonsense from guys who are basically clueless idiots who have never been on a sports field or arena in their miserable lives.
The votes are rarely unanimous. That is the check and balance, his is just one vote.

NFL MVP voting occurs after regular season ends and typically have 1 week to vote prior to start of playoff games. Votes are already cast by the time player gets to the Super Bowl.

It is considered a regular season award.

Yes, obviously but it just pisses me off when these "holier than thou" assholes say shit like this and basically bastardize the system just because they have a personal beef.
I think it's about time they came up with a rotating panel of more than just arrogant old men who think they are better and smarter than anyone else. Maybe include some former players, coaches and younger journalists who can simply vote based on what a guy does on the field of play. The HOF and all pro voting has the same problem.

In most cases I'd agree with you, but it's Rodgers so I'll allow it.

Besides don't they let personal feeling play in how they vote for the HOF?

Maybe, but two negatives don't make a positive except in mathematical equations...LOL

Wow...

Checked and to now no interceptions. He did have fumbles at Baltimore and SF so a couple of turnovers.
It helps to have a RB that can dominate games and limit how much is expected from Wentz. Keep things simple and don't let him think too much and he's capable of being an okay QB that can give you the odd big play. May be enough to give the Colts a punchers chance I'm interested to see if they face a team that's good vs. the run if Wentz can elevate his game enough.

Or it helped getting away from Pederson.
