That shin won't heal before the season is over.

JMO but McKissick has been the most valuable back and most versatile.
Yeah, I'll second that emotion. The Skins are winless w/o his contributions imo. It's funny, but we keep hoping to find another WR for this team and they might have 2 pretty good ones playing RB right now. I'd like to see what JD could do as a #3 in the slot.

Santana mentioned that Dax and Humphreis have been open and without Logan, he hopes coaches will encourage Heiny using them more. Also that they are good safety valves for him

They're not gonna sit him. That's not the Washington Football Team way. They'd rather play him till something really fucks up. Then they might sit him, but only then.

What? Gibby has the potential to tear the top off a defense. He does very well with what's happening up front because regardless of others opinions of our oline, its not great. The fumbling issue is his to own but I'm staying high on Gibby, if only because he owns the Boys and we really have nothing behind him.

He is a horrible short yardage runner for his size. He has speed and size but I just dont see RB traits in him right now. He is not quick and cant juke a guy like JD can. I know he is hurt but this has always been the case with him.

Let's be honest: which coaches do we actually know, based on the product their putting on the field, are good.

I'd go with the Oline coach, the TE coach, and you could argue the DLine coach.

Which coaches could suck based on the product they put on the field:

RB coach, qb coach, Lb coach, secondary coach. wr coach.

That's a lot of crappy coaching.

Injuries play a big role in the WR coach. I really don’t have a problem with the RB other than I’d like to see them used more. You could argue we HAVE no LB tho Davis appears to be coming along. QB coach
Idk, Heineys issues seem more linked to his own repeated mistakes.

So I guess for me I have the biggest issue with the secondary coach. And i blame JDR more than him tbh

He's been playing with house money all along, correct?? Did he forget that he was sleeping on his sister's couch less than a year ago?

@skinz2winz

Of the teams that have played 7 games this year. Only 2, the Bucs and the Rams, have given up less sacks that the Skins. Least Sacks Allowed 2021 By Team | StatMuse And while Taylor's elusiveness has helped the Skins OL. He put himself in trouble a couple times against the Pack trying to make things happen. Of the 10 sacks the Skins have allowed this year, almost half, 4, came Sunday against the Packers. And if the Skins weren't always playing in catch up mode. I gotta believe this would help the OL even more in pass protection.

Far as Gibson goes. RR saw Gibson and says he reminded him of Arian Foster. Its too bad he didn't see DJ Metcalf instead or some other WR who looks more like a LB instead of a WR. Gibson does have that dynamic quality about himself like a Metcalf or even a Terrell Owens, but I think it would be better served in space one on one against LBs n DBs. As opposed to a DL running off gurad or tackle.
Conversely I would say TH's legs have helped the OL on many occasion this year. Leno is what he is and Schweitzer while replacing Scherff has been solid, was a backup to start the season. Cosmi is a rookie and has held up well less the injury. I rate this OL as just above avg. Don't let the limited sacks total fool you because I'm not.

I feel Gibson has star potential but like other positions on the team, the lack of a QB and his effectiveness take some of the shine off Gibson who would likely parlay his good QB play into more ground game effectiveness. The fact that Gibson played WR in college should translate into more opportunities at the NFL level but for some reason it has not.

Not true their rankings are very good individually and together
The o/line has been at the top 7 level all yr long even with subs
Those rankings had the WFT as a top 5 defense also. :2cents:

The OL is the one unit on the team that hasn't been a glaring or habitual problem. That can't be said about any other offensive or defensive unit. I think they've played better than above average overall, but even above average would make them the Skins most cohesive unit.

If Gibson was still @ WR maybe, but as a RB he has other responsibilities such as blocking n blitz p/u in the passing game. I'm not sure if he's embraced those responsibilities. There was one play against NYG where he purposely avoided a blitzing LB so he could go be available for a pass.

He's not a 17-20 carries a game RB imo and I don't think he ever will be. I do think he could be a 12/13 carries a game RB who gets 5/6 passes a game.
