The constitution grants rights to the people and limits the power of government. You show me where it gives either the federal or state government the right to enact mandates?

The Washington mandate only affects its employees.

This is absolutely ridiculous.

People are losing jobs because they are refusing the vax to protect the people that are protected by the vax. I mean, think about that. How is that even logical?
the vax doesn't completely protect. it reduces the effects but you can still catch it. by requiring that all under contract employees receive it the odds are greatly reduces even that chance. but the main objection is protect them from those idiots who refuse to protect themselves

you still haven't shown me where it violates anyone's rights. are you saying that your right over rides mine. you refuse to take steps to protect yourself and thus expose me to it. should i be able to sue you or your estate

So what is the point of the vax? If, my chance at survival is greater than 99% if I get COVID without the vax, what benefit does the vax provide? Since the vaxed can still get it and transmit it, what are we going to do about all those vaxed people spreading COVID to the unvaxed?
by requiring that all under contract employees receive it the odds are greatly reduces even that chance.
So, it's ok to force a medical procedure on me for you to feel the slightest bit safer? Yet, the vaxed call the unvaxed selfish.
but the main objection is protect them from those idiots who refuse to protect themselves
Again, your vax should do that. Why do you need me do anything?

We don't protect people from smoking, drinking, eating too many Big Macs, etc. Why does the government feel it is legal and necessary for COVID?

I’m sure he’s a good enough coach to obtain a job anywhere in the SEC… states down here give zero fucks about mandates.

an employer has the right to require any under-contract employee to meet their required standard. he and his coaches were under-contract employees of a state university and they were required under that contract to meet the requirement of getting the vaccine or obtain a waiver. their request for waiver was rejected as not meeting the standards of the grounds for the waiver so that left one option: get the vaccinw

is it Unconstitutional? where in the Constitution does it say a employer can't require an employee under contract to adhere to certain "mandates" to protect others that may be effected?
They only get away with doing shit like mandates because a cooperative Fed Govt helps them out. If the Govt limited their influence over the market place like was the founders intention, then the market place would punish/reward the dumb/smart businesses and in this case, football programs.

for a ridiculous reason, and besides the fact he was doing his job very well.

This country is going to reach its breaking point.

For what ridiculous reason was his accommodation request denied?

the radical left and their propaganda media arm have their boots on the throats of Americans, "Comply and conform or else"..............

President Trump would never allow this to happen to the citizens of this country. He actually believes in freedom and liberty, unlike the progressive socialist party in this country.

So, stipulations can be added to a contract by an employer whenever they want? What's the point of a contract then?

he and his coaches were under-contract employees of a state university and they were required under that contract to meet the requirement of getting the vaccine or obtain a waiver.

Again, show me where the government has the right to force medical treatment on citizens? What part of the constitution grants them that power?

Have you heard of any religious or medical waivers being granted? Those "exceptions" are a pipedream that gives the appearance of legitimacy. No, someone practicing Islam that hires onto a trucking company that delivers beer, they can go to court and get a settlement when they lose their job for refusing.

His medical waiver was granted. Unfortunately, his job requires contact with large groups of people, so despite the medical waiver being granted, no accommodation could be approved.

Vaccination requirements have been legal as long as there have been vaccines.

my immune system is my protection. You don't have the right to dictate to people that they jab a needle in their arm....... it's simple. you vaccine dictators act like we are dealing with the black plague. I haven't been sick in almost 2 years.

besides, the vaccine is proven to be less and less effective.......... and people still die while having it.

Do you see where this is going? Nothing matters but getting vaxed.

What is the point of the vax?
What's the point of a contract?
What's the point of the approved waiver?

You sound like one of those idiots that trusts the Govt and it's compromised scientists who use fear mongering tactics to scare chumps like you into complying with their nefarious agenda to gain more power and control over the populace and to gain more of our money.

I'll trust common sense and good science and the health industry's advice in general, all of which happens to coincide with the Bible's health advice which basically is...

Eat right, live right, keep active and fit, which leads obviously to getting lots of fresh air and sunshine, and keep up positive social interactions and don't stop educating ourselves to keep our mental health healthy as well.

Do all that and no virus out there will be able to harm you. But Americans instead choose to eat crap and live unhealthy lifestyles and then expect science to come up with easy solutions to correct their defects they brought upon themselves.
