but again, it wasnt about safety... it is week to week... chubb and Mayfield eat into eachother's stats... it will be rare for them both to have great weeks the same week...
I'm going to disagree with your theory here, because a decent QB only helps a RB IMO vs a bad QB makes it hard for a RB to do much ( although some RB make due some how)

i didnt hate the pick itself... i hated the pick because of Chubb...

Didnt love the pick though if he didnt have chubb...
But Chubb is going to produce no matter what...so I don't really see a problem with the QB and RB duo it's just if we are talking about duos that probably doesn't rank too high at this point. If they have a top 5 offense, Mayfield likely plays like a top 12 QB. Odell is back, DPJ could have a breakout season, he has 3 nice TE's, add in Hunt...I think it's very possible they could be a top 5 duo barring injury and Chubb playing a full season....

I would also have to disagree with his Milkness.
Not sure I ever considered the QB-RB combo to work against each other for fantasy points.
Maybe if an owner drafted the RB-WR combo?
I can see those 2 positions working against each other.

Even still, did I ever tell you the story of this kid in one of our redraft leagues from several years back?
The dummy drafted almost any and all Bears players.
Since it was a decade ago, he started with Matt Forte, then added Greg Olsen, Jay Cutler and Johnny Knox.
Not to mentioned the Bears DST (Devin Hester era).

Honestly didn't think he would win 1 game but he actually started out like 3-0 or 4-0 before the wheels came off.

this looks like a bunch of you guys have never done SF before... there are many teams with no QB on the bench, and some of those teams may not even be starting 2 QBs all season...
IDK if they have done SF before ( surely most have) but they been playing FF for years. Pretty rough to try to make due with only one QB in SF, but I've seen teams try it ( some cases it's forced on them). I'm thinking some horse trading is going to happen.
I like Jimbo's team where he waited on drafting QBs but he didn't wait so long that he missed out on a pair of usable QB. SEHughes has the weakest roster IMO and that trade did not work out for him IMO.
Three teams have 4 QB, no doubt hoping to trade the fourth QB for something nice to those who find themselves in need. LOL DarkSider2 started the draft nicely but went off the rails starting in the 9th round. It's more then risky to count on Watson playing this season, it's plum foolish in a redraft.
Reggie and Antman have a good roster, except Antman doesn't have a third QB. My roster isn't dominate at any position, but isn't weak at any either. So right now think I should make the playoffs but don't have that championship quality. I'll be trying to improve it.

That's a pretty fair assessment of your team. Should be in the playoff mix, but will need something to put you over the top into a solid 'ship contender. Whether that is hitting on an unexpected ww stud or a trade or one of your lower bench guys becoming a viable starter.

i am a little confused with the draft chart... i see the big trade... but they traded a 3 for 1... where is the last 2 picks for Hughes?? and does schab have an extra player or 2

I hadn't thought about that but it looks like Gallup and Blanken are on the WW and Hughes filled in from the WW.

Jimbo is like my team then but I did want Cousins late but he got scooped up. I think Big Ben will outscore Cousins or at least close and then Watson or Bridgewater, hit or miss there. I think your team is middle of the road but I think it’s boom or bust

My team is the type that will put up a decent amount of points every single week , but doesn't seem likely to ever have those boom weeks and yeah I think my team actually makes the playoffs as is but will get beat by a team that has the boom factor in the playoffs.
I'd put my money on Ben suffering injury this season and my money is on Cousin out scoring him for the season, but while healthy Ben is capable of putting up some good scores, the thing is I'd want the player that last for the season. Losing a starting QB is a season killer unless you got a very good back up to replace him, this is even more important in a SF league where trading for a QB will cost you your first born.

Someone just dropped Michael Carter to pick up the back up to Gus Edwards. I'm going to bid on him. How high should I bid? We start with$100

So you have Chubb, DMonty and RJones? That’s it, only 3. Seems pretty low. You have to start two RB’s right?

I have Stevenson also, but Carter would help. I'd feel a lot better having him. So how much to bid? I assume others are going to bid on him.

I'm certainly no expert on auction leagues but I'd say 10-15% of your allotment, maybe even 20%. It's unlikely you'll have a better one there for the taking at a position of need. ...

Yeah he is likely the best player on the WW for the season, which means Folks may go big. I’d hate to miss out because I was being frugal. Most the time I only risk less then $10,often try for zero dollars. However think the time to spend big is here. I bid $69 on him and I worry I’ll lose.
