whew. fortunately heuer was on tonight. first time in a long time methinks.
Our starters deserve better. The offense remains way too inconsistent.Great pitching effort wasted tonight.
Spot on. I hate using injuries as an excuse in any team sport, being most teams have their fair share of them as well. It's part of the game. But it's apparent that in missing so many from our roster, including 3 positional starters, we're simply not there yet as far as being the top dawg in this league. Hahn needs to bust a move prior to the deadline, plain and simple.Welp, this series sure has been a nice slice of some good ole fashioned humble pie.
To me, it really demonstrates how we're not going to be able to get by with this patchwork lineup against the league's best on a consistent basis. We really need Eloy/Robert healthy and a trade for Frazier or Marte to replace Madrigal.
geez! kinda of what people hated me for saying.Yeah. Our SP will get us over the meh teams by itself…but we’re missing way too much in the lineup to handle the other big boys.

wrong?!?!?!?It's complicated - I love hating Iddy - sometimes I hate him because he's right - and sometimes I love him for being wrong.
Both Robert and Jimenez expected to return at some point too. No one said they were entitled to cruise to the division title without challenges..In my flexible way of thinking this is good from the standpoint that the Sox have won too easily and you only learn something from defeat. Every champion has to overcome adversity and this is a little bit for the Sox. The Sox will have to make a statement this season to win a series on the road against a good baseball team.
Go Sox!
