Series Thread: White Sox @ Astros

A 4 game set on the road against the best hitting team in baseball - lined up against our Sox the best pitching team in baseball. Moncada should return to the lineup - Dylan Cease on the bump for the Sox. The Astros pitcher is a good one - who gives up a Home Run every 6 innings as his major flaw.

The Astros have scored .5 run more runs per 9 innings than the White Sox. The White Sox, however, have given up .6 less runs per 9 innings than the Astros have. This data doesn't lie - the Sox will win by .1 of a run.

If we can get through this tough week vs HOU and TB at 4-2. Taking 2/3 from each? That is a massive win. Especially when you look at our upcoming schedule before the ASB. Man, it looks appetizing. We could really put a good amount of distance between us and the rest of the division.

17 games vs 5 teams. 3 of those 5 teams are in last place with putrid records (sub .400 win%). While Seattle is in 3rd place in the West, sub .500, and can't hit to save their lives. Detroit is 10 games under .500 in 4th place in the Central and we have owned them as of late.

Let's take this series and really go to work on that cupcake schedule.
